Liverpool-Real was a complete domination. Liverpool just totally outclassed them. It's sad to see Real looking like a meek shadow of their former self. They've really gone downhill since the days of the Galactigos. Chelsea played well enough to scrape through in a really exciting match, but without the sending off it could've been a different story.
I give ManU 7/10 chance of going through. Inter are a great side and they could definitely cause an upset, particularly with the away goal rule. We may get to see Mourinho running down the touchline once again.
You need lots of luck to do well in the Champions league, so I wouldn't read into it that much. ManU (imo the best team in the world) could lose tonight, and be the first English team out! With Liverpool and Arsenal (who are abysmal at the moment), both worse teams, making it through. It's just the way it goes.

Aresenal hasn't actually made it through yet. It is pretty hard for any English team to win in Italy so Roma is definately not out of this by any means. Man U also has not lost at home in over 1 year, so their chances are a little better than 7/10 I would say.
You are right, however that anything can happen (especially an upset) so one can never be completely sure of match results ever. All I know is that I can't wait till the games start, cause i'm sure they are going to be epic.

Roma is a much easier draw than Inter though. Don't forget ManU don't have to lose to go out, Inter only need a score draw. If they nick a goal it could be very difficult for United.

My predictions today (not aggregiate):: Man U. Inter: 1-2 Man.U will have posession in the 1st half, 2nd half Inter will have. Ibrahimovic 2 goals. Barca vs Lyon 5-0 Messi Motm Roma vs Arsenal: 0-1 Eduardo Scores the winning goal, to surprise more Porto Atletico : 1-2 Porto will have posession but Forlan + Aguero will get into the scoresheet

In other news, Riquelme has quit the Argentina National team siting differences with Maradona, He announced it in some interview where he said : "“I found out on the radio that I would not be selected for the friendly against France [back in February] and I also found out, on television, that the coach wants me to play in a different position. It is clear that we cannot work together." Obviously there has to be more to this since we all heard he was omitted against france cuz he had an important game for Boca 3 days later or something.
Riquelme is a favorite player of mine and has been since his first time with Boca, but i'm starting to really get pissed off at him...first i hated the fact that he went back to Argentina to play, cuz it meant i would never see any games of him, hes so fuckin talented and should have gone to a different team in Spain after Villareal or Italy even. I never saw him as being ideal for the EPL. Now the one last chance of seeing him play for Argentina has been taken away too...he's such a fuckin diva its annoying, who cares if your coach wants to play you in a diff position, hes the coach u just go with what they say, coaches are supposed to have authority over players..thats how it works Juan Roman. Let alone the fact that the coach is the legendary Maradona. He needs to humble himself a little get of his fuckin high horse...hes 31 and would still be a starter for a great soccer nation like Argentina and hes pissing on that opportuinity. There are many other Argentinian AMF who can take his place but still i wish it's him

ohh Champs league prediction;
Man U 3 : Inter 0 - although i wish Inter would knock them out. Arsenal 2 : Roma 0 - with arsenal getting 129871982 chances and only scoring 1 or 2 Barca 2 : Lyon 1 - i see the biggest upset potential here tho, Lyon looked very impressive the 1st leg and exposed that la liga shitty defense alot Porto 0 - 2 A.Madrid - Dunno enough about Porto and didn't watch 1st leg but i like Aguero so i hope they go thru

ESPND will only show the Barca game, then they will show some baseball tournment, i signed up for football not that......... fu.ck

I don't want to make any excuses, Liverpool raped Madrid, but Liverpool throwing out the premier to focus on CL is a huge advantage when you're facing a rebuilt-in-january team like RM. Also, RM is making a strong effort to chase Barça while Liverpool fades out in premier. I have watched last 4 liverpool premier games and they were outstanding yesterday, and compared to what I previously saw, another team. It's a fair strat but it's kinda crazy to remove yourself from your local league.
That's gonna kill Barça btw, they were playing godly but being alive in Liga, Spanish Cup and CL will get them tired sooner, while other teams resting at their local tourneys will push them harder in CL.
Xavi + Iniesta ftw !!!

2 headers have separated Manchester United and Inter Milan
Good teamplay for the second goal with Ronaldo receiving the end of the cross fortunately, otherwise it would've likely been an offside goal from Berbatov
Glad to see that Ronaldo can score in some of the bigger matches although he usually is much more quiet

united lucky that inter didn't score, but united winning is certainly fully deserved, they were the better team in both matches not surprised that even inter couldnt score over 2 games
