you guys have to admit that when the question is something she's prepared to respond to, she's just kicking ass. Palin really has extraordinary charisma, and is a lot more captivating to listen to then Biden.

Yes, she has had much more variance in her answers. When she wasn't sure, it was kinda painful, but that last question about experience, she did great on it.

Biden has been more consistent. I think overall, he has done better than her.

I also need to say that the moderator has been pretty dang fair considering the worries that she is writing a pro-Obama book. I have no complaints.

watch though, if the public perception is that biden won the debate (I think this is likely), mccain might just call her out as biased anyways

Well I just tuned in.

It's hard NOT to like Palin. The problem is that Biden's answers are going over the heads of a lot of people. Especially this one right now about judicial philosophy. What the fuck Biden? No one cares. LIke, no one. Palin just did a great job of tying the answer to bipartisanship and change.

edit:

I definitely liked Biden's last answer. It's always so effective when you can deliver a point through anecdotes.

WTF is Palin talking about, answer the god damn question instead of giving stock answer and looking like a deer caught in the headlights.

The difference between McCain and Obama on the war in Iraq is that Obama is committed to withdraw all combat troops within 16 months regardless of conditions on the ground. McCain is committed to withdrawing the troops once the country is stable enough.

You actually believe it will be stable enough eventually? They are just gonna keep being replaced by more and more extremists the longer you stay.

Its changed so much in the last few months that I do have hope for the future.

Changed in a good way? or because the media says it was getting better? because in the last couple of weeks I still see american soldiers dying to attacks.

The media doesn't determine how many soldiers die or how many attacks are carried out by terrorist or what the civilian death toll is. This isn't the media.

Right, then it's people like mccain that determines who freakin dies right? because media is used to persuade the general public into voting for someone like bush and mc cain, by telling people it's alright, we're winning when its completely obvious this is a losing war.
Ya well, at least I don't fuck a fleshlight with a condom on and cry at the same time.

True. I have NO idea why he brought up Bork. The only people who remember Bork are the ones who hate what the democrats did to him. He could only lose by bringing him up.

If he answered that question with something people cared about, people will call him a flip flopper- I think it was a smart move.
