LL is pretty good and has respect from people but he isnt the greatest of all time so how cannibus loses to someone who probably isnt top 5 and then is called the best is just mind blowing. and as for the guy who said nas beat jay-z most people think otherwise it was about 50/50 but yes takeover did ressurect his career. Yeah... and he's definitely better than Jay Z. If you disagree... theres nothing left to talk about in this discussion really. Jay Z being better than tupac.. lol. Only reason i consider Jay Z to be one of the top rappers of all time is because he has good lyrical content, and has stayed at the top of his game for a while now. But what about his style? It's really shitty, the most monotone voice ive ever heard, wheres the charisma? Nas is not the underdog actually.. nas is a living rap legend. He fathered jayz and gave him a style to work with. Jay-Z was in a tropical shirt in the background of someone else's video while Nas was steadily rippin' up the Hip Hop scene. Now... the reason eminem is better is because his presentation, style, and lyrics are all better than Jay Z's. Eminem has meaningful lyrics, with emotion, where he's actually creative and original. I believe musik asked you to give a line or song where jayz was actually creative and original, and you didnt respond. JayZ didnt create any style, he just hopped from one person's style to the other. I really dont see how you can seriously think jayz is anywhere near eminem. I have not heard ONE eminem song that 'sucked' but i know of some Jay Z songs ive heard and just skipped to the next. And if jayz is considered one of the best based on witty one liners... canibus has him beat there. Comparing the lines you wrote from jayz with the ones musik wrote from canibus is funny. Jayz' was no where near the caliber of canibus'. Oh yeah, i may not be able to think of any witty 'one liners' of eminem's... but i can easily list off songs of his which are better than Jayz's. Basically just pick an albumb of his, point to a random song.. and whala... its better than a random song from a Jay Z albumb.
