Don't get things confused. Of course everyone will agree that Patch Zerg era Infestor Broodlord was broken (design-wise and balance-wise) but as far as 8 armor ultra goes, last time I checked ByuN a Terran won GSL and BlizzCon.

Are you using blizzcon which happened before the patch as a barometer for how well the hydra is performing post buff? this is the kind of cognitive dissonance i am talking about from zerg players, that bias cant be beaten...

So only Dark, Soo or another decent Zerg can comment about things? What kind of logic is this? Close the forums then I guess?
About 8 armor ultras. Well Blizzard nerfed them to 7 armor, so I guess they also agreed it was too strong. It only took them 1 year to figure it out tho. Great timing. About Byun, you do realize I said reapers all-ins are too strong too, right? In fact, he won several games vs Dark using reapers. Guess which games he lost against Dark: the ones where he couldn't/wouldn't capitalize on reapers and got rekt by 8 armor ultras. You do realize that having 1 OP unit doesn't mean it's impossible to lose, right?

I'm probably not qualified to judge whether hydras are OP or not, but what I don't understand is: why did Blizzard feel the need to further buff their offensive capabilities in the first place? I mean, first, they are already a T2 unit with highest flat DPS, and the most cost- and supply efficient, in terms of damage output, as well; second, the issue that most Zerg players had with them, apparently, had always been their vulnerability to splash and AoE damage. So, shouldn't Blizzard have tried to increase the hydras' HP and/or armor, instead?

I don't know, I play Terran and Hydralisks still seem awful; bio-tank compositions completely destroy them

did you read the post he made? he said pre buff hydralisks are fine therefore the new one is fine, BLIZZCON does not represent the new hydralisk in ANY way, this is insanity
