Some waiting, but yeah. It's clearable in 10 mins which is 6 runs per hr (27k AP) - there's sometimes very little downtime so 33-80% of that is achievable i'd say depending on the traffic and speed. Got like 80k AP today from that

Anyone ever heard of issues with the LFG tool and signing up as two specs? One time someone told me I only appeared as DPS when I had healer and DPS checked. And now when I sign up as both on groups that need both, I get declined more often than when I sign up as just healer on groups that need both.
Or maybe people just don't trust someone who claims to be able to play both specs? I don't know. Could also be that I just got unlucky. Not like I've gathered enough data to prove the pattern.

It's just more convenient to invite someone who has already decided on their role. It's a lot of trouble to ask "will you heal now that we have found another dps?" and deal with people who say "my x spec gear isn't that great, so i would prefer it, if you found someone with spec y". It doesn't sound like much, but this is exactly the kind of organisational bullshit you have to put up with every time you allow people more freedom. People who regularly invite random people into groups just develop behaviours that minimize organisational work, the same way only people of itemlevel 845+ get invited into mythics, even though you can do them as soon as you hit 110 with <810 itemlvl.

Almost nobody will go out of their way and choose the 810 DPS instead of the huge list with a scrollbar of 830-870 DPS that have applied. If you make your own group then most people won't mind a lower but still somewhat appropriate ilvl
Whatever ilvl is fairly easy for the majority of players to reach will become a floor for getting into LFG groups because there are so many people to compete with

One of your spec is likely the offspec, in a world where you have quite a large amount of applications vying for your keystone, ill take a mainspec dps/healer over someone I don't know any day of the week unless they have a very high ilevel (855+-860).
for regular mythics its whatever though.

ran a mythic 8 with a enh shammy. dude was pulling mad dps around 500k on sub 4 trash and 400k on single tar. made me wanna roll one.

I like to tag for mythics as all 3 monks specs ( MW being my lowest one but still enough to dso up to +4 easily ) and have seen the same issues.

I've had the same issue before in WoD. I was in a 2man group signing up for world bosses and even though I had both dps and heals checked (as group leader) as soon as I clicked that "Join this group" button or whatever the chat window only showed me listed as Damage, as well as the other person in the group (who did only queue as Damage).
Tried switching leader back and forth a couple times and leaving/remaking the group and eventually chat correctly showed Healer/Damage when signing up for a group, but it was bizarre. Never had it alone though. Not sure if there's a concrete fix besides relogging or queuing with someone else as leader maybe.

Yeahhhh I'm just signing up as one or the other. If they have healer, I do DPS. If no healer, I just sign up as healer. Honestly prefer doing DPS for these chest runs because I feel like I make a bigger impact. Too often at least one of the three random pug DPS are pretty bad.

I'm having so much fun this expansion it's surreal. I'm not even raiding or anything but for some reason the whole artifact stuff and class halls make it fun for me to play a lot of characters. I played a Demon Hunter for the first month or so and now I'm just leveling a new character so I can try the artifacts with that one.

Good you enjoy it like you do. Perhaps you waited 1whole month and then started a new one, i can understand if that is still a good experience.
I leveled two chars at the same time to 110.
Then a third one.
Doing suramar once(iam honored at most) was a good experience. Good voice acting. Second time around so short into it was rly dull and then a third.. Oh well.
Great expansion for solo char.
One thing that struck me was with the old talent tree(wotlk style) they pointed out there were many irrelevant/boring talents. Such as 1% more crit. Here we are with artifacts and its the same crap all over. Well, wotlk talent trees were way more intersting than the artifact way atleast.. Oh well.

both of those logs you've linked are an average, but in both, the highest achieved DPS have been from ret pallys.

So I rerolled hunter, and its 1 week old now(friends boosted me in all mythic dungeons), and so far loving MM. How can I use sidewinders in mythic/mythic+? I pick the target furthest behind, and make sure I am not too long from it so the cone doesn't get too big ?
Also it hits air (heard people pulling birds in MoS), what instances and packs should I know of? Does it help if I go closer to melee range to prevent air target to be hit?
