It might be annoying to quest, but it is pretty quick, i personally use ConsLegion addon which just tells you where to go with very nice waypoints I'll check out the addon, haven't used anything along those lines. But from my own experience and conversation with friends the road to 110 felt like it took a while, both /played time and spread over multiple days if you don't always have a lot of time to play each day. I know there's probably players that can sit and marathon it on a Saturday with efficient planning, but there are many others out there for which it takes a while in game and out.
Again, this isn't a problem. At all. It's just different, and means putting much more love into few characters, which we haven't been required (or even able) to do in a long time.

All of these class changes will be applied during the next scheduled weekly maintenance period in each region. Note that there are also a number of PvP-specific changes, which are noted separately below.
Strange because in those tuning notes, it said the pvp world quests honor gained would get reduced to 150 from 300. So i just finished one of those and i received 150 honor.
Isnt next maintenance the normal time? Like tuesday-wednesday?
Then i check my warrior honor talent. In notes it says The echo slam from 10% to 5% but it still says 10% in game.

About the conslegion, can you turn off bonus objectives? I almost never do them unless it's like 80% done

Leveling is pretty fast in my experience, then again I also leveld during MoP and I fucking hated that.

Sure, it has a lot to do with skill/boss knowledge, but also with what your class allows you to do.

Sorry if I'm not confident in their ability to bring balance in that time.

prot wars just suck at mythic+7. even with heroic leap + thunderclap + battle cry + trinkets + neltharian fury I still cant hold aggro lol. best way to hold "aggro" is to just chain stun them. shockwave is incredibly strong in this regard.
|
Erm, you realize this week both regions had skittish trait at 7 I think, which means you simply can't hold agro if people aoe/cleave? You're meant to single target things down with that.
|
I'm amazed people are playing 7+ without realizing what the modifiers do...
|
well i had +4 where people dont know the bosses or dangerous trash mobs....
|
I didn't even know mythic+ had modifiers. Must be super geared if you can single tar dps trash mobs and still beat timer.
|
pretty sure you can still aoe with skittish, and need to in order to make good timers but imo high mythic+ becomes a lot more about stuns since mob damage is so high that many abilities are simply fatal to someone if they go off. Running stuff like Prot warrior, enh + resto shaman, Havoc DH for 4 aoe stuns every trash pack becomes really good.

+1 and +2 timers are really lenient, especially on lower levels, for current gear (845ish).

Leveling seems to take longer than many of the last expansions and there's a lot of "unlocking" (Suramar, Order Hall campaign) to do even once you finally hit 110. Once you get a toon to the "comfy" spot of world quests and dungeon progress, with most Suramar stuff done, then it's pretty neat and flexible. But that can take a while if you're only playing a couple hours a day tops.
This works both ways because it gives casual players that DON'T care about alts and just love their main a TON of content to do, which is ultimately much better for everyone imo. But it can be a little discouraging for folks that like splitting their time between toons. I've had to focus time into only two characters myself. I thought I'd do my mage first then level a tank (DH) and healer (probably shaman) to have the options open, and I still have barely scratched 101 on my shaman and just don't feel motivated to do so yet. Though I'm enjoying the other two enough that it tends to outweigh the "man I'd love to play [this class] but it's just too much work now". I haven't finished the class hall campaign on my DH either.
I think people became accustomed to playing multiple characters due to a lack of content in the past 2-3 expansions, so they had to find something interesting to do. Now that there's enough content for someone to play "their main" 24/7 and enjoy it, sort of like vanilla days, the folks that have all these 100s just sitting around feel weird not planning on touching them for many months lol. That's my perspective at least. It's more of a psychological hurdle, rather than something wrong with the game. This is pretty well on thr money. Plus the fact that Atifacts encourage single character play, since AP and Relics affect your dps abd ilevel in a pretty huge way, and falling behind on that is big.
For a player like me, who doesn't have time to be a full time raider but gets in on alt runs with the guild and Mythic+, I don't want the times my main is actually able to do stuff to be really behind, so the lower amount of time I have often has to be focusef on him rather than what I feel like playing at the time.
I love that WQs and Heroics and Mythics are constantly giving you a point to chase, I really do and it's so much fun, but it just makes my alt heart hurt a bit. Doesn't stop me from loving this expac.

You DR the mob packs very quick with 4 stuns. Better mix in other CC types as well in there. Prot warrior is still awesome though.
We used a rogue to tricks the tank so everyone can do mild aoe from the start, but it's still mainly about focus firing the most dangerous mobs down.
