Wotlk comes to mind, 73-77 are slow but then you get the ulduar dungeons and it picks up speed. WoD will probably be slower too, but idontreallyknow. MoP was very quick dungeon lvling, I only did the Qs for capital portal and a bit of gathering and got easily to 90.
Nothing is impossible, only some things for some people.

You can upgrade all heirloom to reach 100. 60 ---> 90 ---> 100

You can upgrade all heirloom to reach 100. 60 ---> 90 ---> 100

Yeah I have the cloth heirlooms to 100, I was just curious if it will always be faster than questing. I know in TBC it's very fast, but like someone mentioned I think there are slow spots in the WotLK and maybe Cata range if you're only doing dungeons. I was wondering if it was still that variable or if they've sort of evened it out over time. Either way it's probably more entertaining than questing, even if there are a couple spots where questing would technically be quicker.

Just experienced a new bug w/ mythic+

w/ depleted keystone at level 6, we did maw of souls

normally you'd expect 1 chest, 2 for beating timer, 3 for beating timer x2

the keystone was depleted, level 6 had already been looted so this should change to 0 chest for regular, 1 chest for beating a timer and 2 chests for beating both

we beat the first timer, keystone went from 6 to 8. We didn't get loot from 6 as expected, but we also did not get any loot from 7 (it just skipped right over without the chest)

guys in group saw it this morning as well so it seems like it's not a one-time thing. If your stone is depleted, do not beat any timers because you'll lose loot over it.

The problem he mentions is that you actually want to sit in front of the final boss and do nothing for X minutes to run down the timer in order to only get a +1 and not waste a loot chest.

You're not supposed to get loot from the current level but if you beat the timer and skip a level (in this case, skipping 7) then you should get loot from the skipped level. You don't right now if the keystone is depleted, which means that loot is lost.

So with one timer beat:

Regular run: Loot from 6+7
Depleted: Previous run already gave loot from 6 - no loot from 6 this time, should get loot from 7 if beating timer
What actually happens: No loot from either, level 7 loot is lost

Got first raid done, we had 2 groups, both cleared full normal and heroic nyth. Pretty tough learning curve as disc first time in a raid since the wod changes. Noticed pretty quickly that schism is far too mana intensive, at least at my haste levels (32%) :D

I feel like I'm crying after innervates all the time.

Still, logging in as top5 disc world feelsgoodman.

I'm just hoping that i don't get that one bad legendary (neck w/ shield, so low stat budget and no dps gain on effect). Of the remaining 7, about half of them are pretty great and the other half good

Another mythic+ bug - the game is counting two of my friends as not having completed anything beyond mythic 5. I completed a lvl 6 with them and that's listed as my maximum.. this one affects loot too so wtf? With all of the bug disconnects (fel rush, combat rez - looking at you maw of souls) and bugs mythic+ feels pretty shockingly unpolished compared to the rest of the expansion

Managed 6/7 warlocks and ret paladins really killing group, 5 of us doing 3/4 of the raids dps is depressing as fuck.

dont want to be a douchebag and bring that up though

got lucky, got the mistweaver one that decreases the raid heal cooldown on a mythic+ run.


BTW anyone know which healers are good and bad in mythic? My guild seems to be not running them for some reason so i only did +5 on my monk for now, no idea how high i can go, i read that on beta monks were one of the healers that did not reach 10

Heard that paladins were great but no idea how true that is, i'm running with a druid that may be able to beat the +9 timer (i assume +9 on a timer is harder than +10 with unlimited time) in gear around 855 but it'll be tough.

At the higher levels we're running into a lot of mechanics that were not really a problem on mythic but are nearly lethal or lethal due to the damage bonus. If we start dieing to 1 hit of random stuff (or even getting hit for a large enough % of HP that it's not practical to keep people topped up high enough to survive) then it'll get really nasty
