I'm not trying to toot my own horn, I'm pretty serious. It's just not fun playing with a 92% win rate and I've found myself playing less and less.

I'm a high Masters on KR and I've finished GM on Season 4 2014. I'm no pro and I don't pretend to be. I play with a crappy setup on Medium shaders because it looks pretty and I don't compete in any tournaments, and I got super hyped when they said top 20%, but now it just seems to be the top 20% of NA or something.

uh... im not an expert but doesnt top 20% include the majority of diamond globally? i remember right when they announced top 20% invites immediately a bunch of people were pointing out that most of diamond was going to get in

i sympathize with you wanting a competitive experience, but what are you asking for? fewer people in the beta? pros being forced to play? if the playerbase isn't there yet it isn't there, but it's still really good and really fun for a lot of people to be able to play. what's your complaint exactly? can't you play customs with people your own level?

You're just a hating troll bro and i agree an unranked troll. Biased and poorly thought out posts like this with no actual evidence you should get the beta. There are many hackers with 90% win rates too.

Look at your posts, its better to play 4 on 3. I hate x Caster, blizzard is aweful. Ravagers suck they give zerg too many options. And of coarse several warnings and closed threads all in 30 posts.

How many banned accounts do you have by now on teamliquid and battlenet?

I made one post remotely similar to this one and it was about how blizz ADDRESSES the Ravagers, not anything else.

I am new here and Unranked is literally the same thing as Ranked without badges. There is still MMR and everything is the same, anybody from Blizzard will tell you this.

Also to call me a hacker because I'm winning is pretty silly. Get out of here lol

There are plenty of top 20% players that didn't get in. Most Koreans didn't get in for whatever reason, I'm one of the few and I got it on an account that I got from some Russian guy and it finished Silver in S3 of 2014 and nothing more.

Unranked and Ranked aside from pretty portraits are literally the same. They both have MMR and follow the same search protocols.

Well season 4 doesn't matter.

And I'm pretty sure they don't count unranked, it's not about MMR it's about ladder points and leagues.

Were you diamond or higher in season 1 2015?

If not, then that is why. But also a few people didn't get in that should have. So yea.

I'm on board with this post. If you did not place diamond or higher in the last season of HotS, you should not expect to be in the "top 20%". Unranked and ranked have separate MMRs, and likely they do not look at your unranked MMR/"high-level play" in the formal consideration of invitation.

If you did place higher, then maybe something is off. I can't tell you what Blizzard's reason is, and no one in here can either. Basically, this thread has no specific purpose other than to whine and hopefully collect others to whine with you as well.
