Crimson Starleague Season 2




Background:
With the first Crimson Starleague Invitational being a relative success, the second installment of Crimson Starleague will also act as an Invitational, and also partly due to unfortunate event that occurred during the first Starleague.

The league is welcome, but not limited to, mainly max D- to C+ players, and B- players are welcome to play if they signed up with an offrace.

Format:
The format will go through a Round-of-32 Group Stage, with 4 players divided among each group, played via MSL format (First two initial games, Winner's and Loser's match, final match). From the 16-players to advance, there will be another Group Stage, but this time, going through a Round Robin format, with two players advancing from each group. Beginning at the Round-of-8, it will become a single-elimination, playoff bracket.

Designated Dates:
The designated channel is Op Crimson on the iCCup server (@TheAbyss)

Ro16 Group Games - Saturday, Feb 08 5:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00)

Ro4 Games - Saturday, Feb 22 5:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00)

RULES
  • Winners must send replays to crimsonstarleague@live.com
  • Players are allowed to reschedule, but not past the deadline it is required to be played on. If postponements are absolutely necessary, then please PM me.
  • Players are not allowed to race-pick and are not allowed to change races during the tournament. Players that do not play with their original race must let me know BEFORE the league starts.
  • If players do not make contact with their opponents, PM me and I will make the decision regarding walkovers or rescheduling.
  • All games must be played with Anti-Hack and ChaosLauncher with LAN Latency.
  • If a player disconnects within 2 minutes of the start of a game, then the game must be replayed. If a player disconnects past the 2 minute mark, please contact me and show me the replay. I will make the decision regarding a regame, or whether a verdict will be made.

Longinus IS in the map pool...

The map poll is there so that maps can be replaced, not whether one is more standard than the other.

For 4 player maps, Colosseum is the map up in the air to be replaced, and apparently, Circuit Breaker is the ideal choice. For 3 player maps, Triathlon is the map up in the air to be replaced, and Neo Medusa is the ideal choice. For 2 player maps, Monty Hall SE is the map up in the air to be replaced, and Polaris Rhapsody is the ideal choice.

I might be changing Fighting Spirit out with another map like La Mancha but I haven't decided completely yet, especially since everyone HAS to play on FS and there's probably going to be some angry folks if there isn't FS...
