AHHH!!!!" beeeeerbbbebrrrbbebrbb and die and blue goo. yes. and there will be much blue goo. haha. mine micro. lol I loved that anomonopia (spelling?) Bebebbberebbbre!! ![]()

It's pretty good, maybe I can program one for you, but you'll have to say pretty please.

Nono, he *used* to be a CS major. You know, he declared that as a major for a semester, found he had no idea wtf he was doing, and switched to something else. ![]() In any case, yes, Code, your program idea would be a hack, plain and simple. Don't try to make excuses because there's just no way this could be considered a program that doesn't give you an advantage over those who do not have it.

Do you remember what happens to a unit when you right click to move it around? It goes to exactly the spot you point correct? You take scv, right click to a specific location, it moves exactly to that point. Let us define this kind of click as "Ground click" Also remember when you try to make a marine goes really close to another marine? You select a marine, right click on the other once. The marine moves toward it and stops about 3 steps away. If you keep spamming right click on the other marine, eventually it'll be right next to him. However that's only if you spam. Let us define this kind of click as "Unit click" If you played nexus, you will know the frustration of trying to get your freakin civilian ON the beacon. You right click once, the civ moves close to the beacon yet not ON it. You spam right click then eventually he will be exactly in the center of that beacon, such is because a beacon is a UNIT, and you're doing a "unit click". That's why some map make the doodad state of the beacon as "disabled", so when you right click, you are actually clicking on ground, thus with a proper "ground click", the civ goes straight on top of the beacon. NOW, with the case of the vulture... If you lay mine with "i" -> left click ground. Initially the vulture will be laying a mine on a "ground click" thus the mine is dropped exactly where you want it to drop. However, when you try to lay another mine, you hit "i", and click on top of that mine, suddenly it is a "Unit click", and therefore the vulture will move close to the mine, stop, and drop. Legally speaking you can spam i -> left click to try to get the mine on top, however it is not practical to do so... However, by click on the mini-map, you ASSURE that it will be a Ground click, no matter what. Because a pixel on the minimap is a pixel of the ground. By clicking on the minimap, every click is a "ground click" and by doing so you can lay a mine right on top of the other. Hope that helps ~___~ ![]()

Using this method, I got 2 lots of 3 mines perfectly stacked in single player mode, but its very hard with no lag because the Unit click command, ie the command of mining, must be done at the very last possible moment before the vulture covers the mine so you cant issue the command. I suspect with lag it is easier. The minimap way is much more efficient though. Thanks for the tip :D

it's not a hack. someone really good can probably aim the mouse perfectly, but i'm not progamer so i'm not gonna practice that. lol, so you can hack as long as you are not a progamer...

Thanks evanthebouncy~ for clearing the Ground Click and the Unit Click. And yes, I think what IIICodeIIIIIII wants must be counted as hack.

basically, when clickig on the minimap, as soon as vulture is laying mine, spam tell it to hold ground, stop, move to where it is at already. then it'll get stuck on top of hte mine it just laid and not slide off like normal. now you can lay another mine right on top of the first mine. spam hold ground + stop + move and put a 3rd mine on top of htat. for some reason, the mines don't sink into the ground and make the clicking sound when there is a vulture stuck on top of it. but when the vulture slides off after all 3 mines are laid, the 3 mines dig into the ground and make the clicking sound 1 by one. the whole process takes about 6 seconds for all 3 mines to sink in. i'm busy, but i'll try to get good at this and post a replay when i can.

also as a side question. i'm wondering if it's legal in tournament play to turn on your ally so your mines can kill his units? why i'm asking is because suppose me and my ally are both terran and we drop say, a protoss. i drop vultures and mine up his mineral patch. he comes in after me an ddrops marines right on top of my mines. if i unally him, mines explode. better than tank drop. better than reaver drop. kehehe. on lt at least, both he and i can block in so it's something i'm considering to kill some noobs wiht. all for fun.

Probably not legal, as allied mines is illegal because its abusing something outside normal game mechanics (allying) and your idea would abuse the same thing, pretty much.
