Site seems to be under maintenance right now so link doesn't work. Not sure what I think about this. The zergling looks really bad, and the zealot doesn't seem different at all other than colors, because I don't think there's an actual size difference, just made so for emphasis. Anway, I hope you can turn off this stuff for competitive play.

Ling looks like a dinosaue. Marine slowly morphing into a rauder. I would like these enabled for tournaments.

aw Zerg got hosed. The zergling looks stupid compared to the marine and zealot D;

Marine > Zergling > Zealot
The Marine looks badass. New helmet. Extra shoulder padding. And a badass new gun with a bayonet. It makes me proud to play Terran.
The new Ling is a bit less interesting since it's just an extra fin, although a large one at that. I wonder how it will affect visibility of the ling speed upgrade wings and if it's too distracting when lings are in large numbers.
A recolored Zealot is lame.

I imagine there will be a variety of these, and I don't imagine they're compulsory.
Adding new, optional aethestics is never a bad thing - if you don't like them, don't use them, it has no effect either way.

New Marine = Gears of War?

A good recolor, lol.
Who wants lings with mohawks? Not I

new marines should have a different melee animation like hydras or roaches :D
|
The Zealot isn't a simple recolor. Look closer, folks.

Under your profile > rewards in the sc2 client, you can enable/disable these. If you have the collectors edition of the game, you can also enable/disable those skins for the thor and ultralisk.

Mercenary marine is aesthetically overpowered.
|
I demand my new marine use that bayonet in melee range

|
This is nice and all, but what ever happened to the new queen model? That thing was gorgeous!
|
The new Marines look pretty damn cool with their bayonets and armor, though it could be strange in game when they fail to melee an enemy unit.

Heart of the Swarm Preview: Leveling Rewards
http://us.battle.net//sc2/en/blog/8983615
StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm is just around the corner, and with it, you'll discover a host of new opportunities to customize the look and feel of your StarCraft II experience. Previously, we detailed how you can earn experience points and customization rewards through the Heart of the Swarm leveling system by playing Matchmaking and Custom Games. This time, we'd like to take a look at the different types of rewards that are up for grabs. Character Portraits and DecalsCharacter portraits have always been an exciting way to show off your StarCraft II accomplishments, and Heart of the Swarm will allow you even more opportunities to inject some attitude into your profile. Once the game launches, you'll find the reward section of your profile page loaded with a bevy of brand new portraits, ready and waiting to be unlocked as you progress through the leveling system. We've also added tons of epic new decal rewards that you can proudly display on your structures in-game. It's worth noting that all of these new portraits and decals are additions to the existing reward pool, and will not be replacing those found in Wings of Liberty. Unit Skins and DancesHeart of the Swarm will also feature two exciting new reward types that you can bring with you directly to the battlefield: unit skins and dance animations. Currently, dance animations can be unlocked at levels 10, 15, and 20, while unit skins become available at levels 20 and 30. If you've ever felt that your army could use more attitude, the skins above will have your opponents trembling at the mere sight of your opening gambit. Those of you who would prefer to spruce up your main base can avoid supply blocks in style with the skins found below. Finally, we'd like to take this opportunity to remind you that even StarCraft units need a break for some R&R. Perfect for any occasion, these community-inspired dances will get your army's toes tapping and are just the thing for celebrating your victories on the battlefield. Now that you've had a sneak peek at some the new customization rewards, what are you most excited to unlock once you log in to StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm on March 12? Let us know in the comment section below.

This could be very cool, or very stupid, but I hope it brings it a considerable casual crowd to support SC2 since it seems impossible now to have a large scale game that doesn't have one of those. That said, I hope these are features that can be turned off if we do not wish to use them.
