Hello there!
As a part of killing my free time, I've conducted a mini Interview with a player that most of you know (in bad or good way), so I thought it would be interested to see what DeathAngel has to say about it:
Q: DeathAngel, to cut the story, could you just tell us, who you are, and what situation happened recently? DeathAngel: Hello, my name is Andrei Nodea, I am 26 years old from Romania known as DeathAngel. What happened was that I played under a friend's account (Veralynn) and also played for her in some showmatches and tournaments. It ended pretty bad I would say.
Q: Could you explain the community, why did you do that? What was the reason's behind your decision? Does it has anything to do with your current team in that moment (Absolute Legends), and what was their status on that? I just needed some money since my last team didn't payed my salary for the last 3 months and also didn't refunded my lan trips. It was a desperate move.
Q:So, what after this, do you have to say something about the situation that happened? DeathAngel: I really want to apologize for the whole situation that I created. I am really sorry for the people that got hurt from my actions. I regret it and I will never do something similar again. I hope the ones that got affected by this will be able to forget what happened and accept me back in the community as a player.
Q: What are you future plans now? Any team or events popping up? Something new? DeathAngel: Yes, I am soon going to join a new team, and I want to be able to score some good results at the next lan event that I will be able to attend.
Q: Any last words to add up? DeathAngel: I would like to thank people that supported me (if there is any), and the ones that will support me in future. I hope everything goes well, as I do think will do better. That's my promise. Thanks!
Well, that's all! I hope things will be more clear for the community now!
Best regards!

wasn't he banned from teamliquid for this scandal? I'm not sure we're ready to have him back...

Hopefully everything turns out well for him, gl!

Yes, exactly. He was (is still?) banned from tl. But, I strongly believe everybody deserves a second chance...

In my opinion everyone deserves another shot. Also I always liked your ID so as far as I'm concerned - gogo DeathAngel fighting!!!
Edit: Also I think thread title should read "beginning"

Well of course he's sorry, especially if he wants to stay in the community.
|
At least he handled the situation well, flat out saying that he was wrong and apologizing in the original thread. Hopefully he can have a future in SC2, Good Luck.

I'm not sure what your apologies are meant to mean? Vera payed back the tournament organizers all the money that... you won... from the showmatches that you weren't meant to be in. I real apology would be to do the same in my opinion.
edit: I mean, all I could take from this was DeathAngel saying "hey guise im rly sry but yea im not gonna pay back all the money i stole. plz forgive me tho, looking forward to coming back to the community!"

Seems like a PR move but didn't major do the same thing? Why isn't he treated the same way?

This seems more like an attempt to shit on aL than anything. I really don't see the point and it's still only around a month since the controversy occured.

Where's the question that asks "Why did you run away from the Red Bull Lan like some sort of scared child?"

I can tolerate douchebags to a certain extent, but they have to be a lot better than this kid

Actually, its 2 months since it happened. I won't go in the thing if aL done that or not, but there are many players that are not going for revealing things organizations done to them cause of the pressure, acquisations, and later luck with finding normal teams.
The guy is simply trying to get his work life back, and I am strongly againts things he done, but, I as I said, believing that if you really think you made a mistake, and are going to work on fixing it, then, the community should try to support him. No body is perfect, we make mistakes. All the time.

I don't know how relevant he really was before this scandal. After this scandal I don't see why I should care anymore now. This apology also really means nothing. Actions speak louder than words. When he starts doing things that have some sort of meaning or when actions show that he deserves any attention at all I'll give it. For now this is for all intensive purposes entirely meaningless.
