I wonder what Gowdy knows that's making him run far away from the Trump admin. Or is he actually consistent when it comes to security issues? I guess I could give him the slightest of credit if so. Gowdy has announced his retirement, so he's not in a position where standing up to Trump will cost him reelection.
But it could cost him an appointment to judgeship

He certainly does, a safe space in solitary confinement until the day he dies.

I think Gowdy has enough state-level clout to where he doesn't need to worry about that. This will also go on to be used as "evidence" he is impartial.

Lets put this under the list of things Trump claims he cares about while he actively tries to destroy it.

The big secret about mental health is that 10 years ago we thought we had all the answers and now people are realizing the scale of the problem and that our solutions may be having a negative effect. Education is the key if you ask me. It wouldn't even take that much investment and you could have kids doing relaxation exercises and noticing when they feel stressed instead of ignoring it. Its just a feeling I have but I think it would make a huge difference long term.

A South Carolina teen was arrested Thursday after threatening “Round 2 of Florida tomorrow” on Snapchat, authorities said.
The Spartanburg ninth-grader wrote the menacing caption over a photo of him wearing a partial mask and holding what appeared to be an assault rifle, the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office told Fox News.
Authorities were alerted to the sick threat when a classmate who recognized the suspect in the Snapchat post told a parent.
Cops rushed to the suspect’s home, where they found the mask and rifle, which turned out to be a pellet gun, according to Fox.
The teen, whose name is being withheld due to his age, allegedly said he was joking in the post, which came out the day after the slaughter of 17 students and staff at a Florida high school.
He was charged with disturbing schools, and is awaiting arraignment. Source
Copy cats are going to be peaking soon I fear.

Jesus christ. Although I will wait until something more reputable than nypost picks it up before spreading it, but that is pretty fucked up if true.

Considering he signed a bill allowing people to buy guns regardless their mental health issue just last year, one can safely assume he doesn’t intend to do anything at all, at any point, about those slaughters.
I one more time don’t understand the morals of american conservatives. Nothing new under the sun.

Everything else falls under that.

Another affair by Trump, with a playmate, after he married Melania.
McDougal ended the relationship in April, 2007, after nine months. According to Crawford, the breakup was prompted in part by McDougal’s feelings of guilt. “She couldn’t look at herself in the mirror anymore,” Crawford said. “And she was concerned about what her mother thought of her.” The decision was reinforced by a series of comments Trump made that McDougal found disrespectful, according to several of her friends. When she raised her concern about her mother’s disapproval to Trump, he replied, “What, that old hag?” (McDougal, hurt, pointed out that Trump and her mother were close in age.)

Interesting part is that the story was bought and not published:
On November 4, 2016, four days before the election, the Wall Street Journal reported that American Media, Inc., the publisher of the National Enquirer, had paid a hundred and fifty thousand dollars for exclusive rights to McDougal’s story, which it never ran. Purchasing a story in order to bury it is a practice that many in the tabloid industry call “catch and kill.” This is a favorite tactic of the C.E.O. and chairman of A.M.I., David Pecker, who describes the President as “a personal friend.”

There are going to be a bunch of journalists at the WSJ that are going to be rethinking how long they want to stay at a paper that buries stories like that.

I think you misread, AMI, a publisher of the National Inquirer did the buying of McDougals story, WSJ just published about them buying it. Now it turns out the story was another Trump affair.
