Totally believe that the whole stuff is legit. The whole talk about his supernatural health would make Kim Jong Un jaleous. "Nobody can see that I am an obese old man and no one has read I go to sleep with a fast food at 6, so let's just say that I have the body and physical condition of a healthy 30 yo, and my supporters will most probably be dumb enough not to rise an eyebrow." Which is also, sadly, clearly the case.

It's also very unlikely that he's 239 pounds. I suspect they came up with some neat compromise where the doctor allowed Trump to self report.

Well actually they made him 0,1 foot taller than he was supposed to be on his official documents. Which would make him officially obese even if it was his real weight. I felt pain in my whole body hearing that doctor talk about him as if he was the captain of a high school football team.

i can totally see the CoS being like ‘Can you go even five minutes without lying to someone?’ *camera goes on three seconds later,’ ‘it’s been lfifteen minutes, do you own a clock? i’m due.’ On January 19 2018 01:31 pmh wrote: You cant go by length alone to determine if someone is overweight, body posture also matters. I guess trump is just well build,ha ha. Bashing people for being obese is horrible to the people on this forum, unless its trump lol. because context is irrelevant. a random forum poster is now on the same standard of the president of the united states. and the fact that he lied on paper is irrelevant, the problem is us calling him out. haha

I know and I do agree, its just weird to see people on this forum use it as an argument/thing against trump. This forum is all in all very politically correct, that is why this did surprise me a bit but I guess everything is fair game when it comes to trump. And I am sry for taunting a bit now and then with my posts (the final sentence in my previous edited post),its all in good faith and nothing to serious. I would have preferred a different president then trump as well.

I have a problem of him describing himself as having the body of a 30 years old people surounding him say that he is so incredibly fit while he is a fast food addicted obese old man. Oh and have a doctor come and pretend he is taller and lighter than he is so that he is e-xac-tly under the obesity rate. I mean, doesn't that hurt you to have your president try to insult your intelligence in such an outrageous way?

We care about him pretending he is more fit than a college athlete by spreading bullshit that would make North Korean leaders blush.

We didn't see FDR lying about being in a wheelchair. FYI – this is a weird example because it was pre-TV and a lot of country didn’t know he was in a wheel chair. He used to walk with canes to hide the fact. He fell on the way to give the State of the Union and no news paper at the time reported on it. It was a weird time.

This statement is coming less than a year after an actual attempt at wholesale banning immigration from certain countries. This was in response to KwarK's post about using merit-based immigration as a cover for racial immigration policies. The Muslim ban was never suggested as being motivated by economics, and makes relatively much less sense in terms of the stated justification. Your attempt at a snarky comment is literally no more than that. Sure, you said you weren't interested in another argument about a statement being racist, but you do so after completely ignoring the context of Trump's words to defend it as not being racist. Where did I defend it as not being racist in this paragraph? Oh wait. I didn't. There is little argument, as demonstrated by the reasoning above, that Trump was intentionally trying to be racist when he made his now infamous statement. Ironically, given your lack of context line, you deleted the very next sentence where I stated that. Whether Trump's statement is racist is a question of why, consciously or unconsciously, Trump choose to use the words he did. I haven't taken a position on that, and it comes down mostly to context of the statement and the priors of the person making the judgement. I have little information on the context other than what I have already stated (which doesn't help much) and I see little reason to be discussing priors on this forum because they'll vary from person to person and I don't care that much what everyone here thinks is or is not racist. Hence why I'm not interested the discussion--apart from the fact that such a discussion is meaningless without a definition of "racism", which I've never managed to get. You need to learn how to read and understand an argument. Or at least stop posting so smugly while you don't.

Edit: Democrats are now pushing for DACA to be added to the CR and they will push for the votes, per NPR’s congressional team. Sounds like Democrats are confidant they could pass the short term spending measure with a few Republican votes and get CHIP and DACA.
