So many people hate him (including the sitting Predisent). If he pushes the tax bill through before Jones is sworn in, he'll be no worse off really-nothing else was going to get through by 2018. | ||

My feeling is that McConnell was barely kept around though clearly not doing "well enough". I think he was only kept around for utility. Moore winning shows he doesn't have enough utility. | ||

Because there's pretty much no basis for a recount here, required or otherwise. It's going to be >1.5%. And that's without provisional ballots that would be counted in a recount situation, I think. They tried to pull similar crap in NC, it quickly fell apart (and there the margin was much smaller than in AL proportionally). Moore is just desperate to remain relevant just like McCrory was. | ||
