Why not? That sounds like a great way to return the US to its 1950s glory.
Can't think of a better way to really make a country 'great again' than injecting another five million or so jews.

I think it would be funny because I'd get to hear the Nazis be mad again like they are over Wolfenstein.

More likely to be rural --> more likely to base opinion on hierarchy

Its kind of bewildering really for most politicians. They have made their careers out of subtly manipulating public opinion, they didn't realize that they could just tell people what to think and they would obey.

nothing new here, the same thing happened on their views about Russia. same principle, just applying to a new target.

They're really bringing the partizanship to a whole new level.

This is amazing. Clearly the goal was to get some right wing site to write about how The Left Was Using Pokemon to Fuel racial tensions or something. There is nothing they didn't try to screw with.

Players kneel in opposition of Trump, flag, and country and some people are surprised voters change to view the league unfavorably.
I really wonder who's the sheep in the picture. The tides of the culture war changed for a bit. Better get used to some setbacks Wulfey ... the 2016 election was only Act 1.

If people were naturally offended by the kneeling then Democrats would be offended and view them less favorably.
Yet only Republicans, who were told by their leader/news to be outraged view the NFL less favorable. Nor is there a counter movement where Democrats view the NFL more favorable to stick it to Trump

The way I see it is that Trump explained to his base why it is important to stand and people his base understood Trump's explanation and agreed with him.
Its simple as that. People are mad at his leadership skills or what? I don't get it.

It might not be act 1, but it was the point when everyone was forced to pull their head out of the sand. We are very early on and people who are demanding that it stop are going to be disappointed. The NFL can't escape it any more than the black men who got shot can't escape it. The flag and the country are the excuse. The Republicans are mad at the NFL for no long being a place they can escape to, without realizing the voted for the culture war. They are upset they got exact what they asked for.

I suppose you can't really argue with this.
Then again, leadership skills are easy when you have half the country begging for someone to tell them what to think.

You'd need ot read up on those to get it.

Players were kneeling before Trump said anything. The shift occurs after Trump says ~"get those sons of bitches off the field"~. That is the sheep part. My question is, why would you want to be on the side of the easily triggered sheep? Dear Leader says that kneelers are bad and the whole herd of snowflakes get instantly triggered and cheer as Dear Leader does his best to get people fired for their political expression.
Further, anyone leaps onto the hate the NFL bandwagon concedes that they don't give a shit about free speech. If you clap as the President of the United States calls for people to lose their livelihoods because he doesn't like their political expression, then you don't believe in free speech. Political expression is the most protected form of speech and the President doing his best to hurt people for their political expression.
EDIT: I know what the response to this is. "but Wulfey, it is the flag, that is just TOOOOO triggering and that makes it okay for the President to try to suppress political expression". No. Any response in this vein just concedes that you don't believe in free speech when it counts.

They were started before Trump was a serious candidate. The mass kneeling was definitely in response to Trump calling for the firing of the players and him calling them sons of bitches (very presidential as always).
There are 2 main explanations for the switch, either the Trump supporters fell for his rethoric that the players kneeling were somehow insulting the country/flag/troops or they felt the massive kneeling was an insult to the great leader. Both of those reasons make them fucking morrons but that's not exactly news...

Did RiK just say Trump has leadership skills? That rotating door of a white house and an administration that can't be bothered to fill empty positions?
