I as an enlightened fellow learned WW2 through hearts of iron three.

I would have thought a strong leader could arrange for their legislative agenda to be enacted.
edit: A strong leader could probably even do it without suspending the ordinary rules <cough>Enabling Act<cough>

Why? Go read, and get to know about your chancellor hitler somewhat.... Yes, he probably did some things right. I guess he knew how to use the toilet. Even though, when i think about it; the shit he spread; im not that quite sure....

But they're not getting upset or making a scene over how much the protest upsets them. Food for thought. It's totally overlooked in the minds of people that think they have a pretty good idea of how people unlike them think and feel. Why think hard when everybody that doesn't already agree with you are "conceited" and taking too many assumptions? It's like I said: you peer into the depths of people's souls to find their true protest, and ignore everyone that uses their eyes and ears to discover the true intentions and actual consequence.

How do we peer into people's souls?

The sad thing is that nothing about that is exceptional.
We have seen so many cases of blatant corruption out of Trump and his family in this presidency (And it isn't even a year old!). Corruption scandals which would have removed any other politician in any other western country just deflect off of trump for some reason. His base simply does not care.
I don't understand how you can be fine with corruption in your politicians. Corruption is obviously bad for the country, and it also proves that they put themselves personally ahead of their countries interests, which makes them bad politicians. Corruption ruins countries more strongly than basically anything else, and it is incredibly hard to get rid of it once it takes root.
Also, how can Kushners intention be what moves it from a federal crime and not a federal crime? Doesn't that mean it is never a federal crime, as i can't see how you could prove that something like that is intentional? As long as he isn't even more stupid and wrote down "I did this intentionally to gain corrupt money! Signed Jared Kushner, Also using my family Seal", he can always just claim "Oops, i totally forgot that million dollar company, and then i forgot that i forgot to mention it when i made millions of dollars with it"

Kushner is untouchable.
Undisclosed meetings and contacts, secret back channels, hiding e-mails, undisclosed finances, none of it seems to matter. He could turn up with a body in his trunk and probably get away with "Oh, I don't know how that got there". He never should have even been in his position in the first place due to anti-nepotism laws, and yet there he stays.

I just realized who Kushner looks like: Dr. Crane / Scarecrow from Nolan's Batman movies.

Do you have a single piece of evidence that the players kneeled in opposition of the flag or the country? Because if not that's a really dumb thing to say, especially when followed immediately by telling someone else off for making assumptions about another's intent. Can you find a single instance of an athlete who kneeled saying he opposed the flag? Because I bet it wouldn't be hard to find a lot of them insisting they don't.
Constitutionally speaking, would you call yourself an "originalist"?

I'd guess some combination of: falsely claiming the alternatives were even worse. Not minding as long as they stick it to the others. Assuming everybody is corrupt and this is no different. Complete lack of understanding of what the most important things are. Ignorance of the actual facts (and using bias to maintain that ignorance)

well this is going to be fun

We might actually be in a world where Dianne %&*# Feinstein is the best available choice. What a dark time for CA.
Also I'm surprised any of these hare-brains would be willing to try this. I can't see her losing. But please don't make me root for her.

Yep. With his establishment bridges burning once more, Trump is going to do the destructive thing to the ACA that does nothing but hurt people, destabilize marketplaces, and cost the federal government money. Great guy.

Watching Trump and the Republicans fumble around trying to get rid of Obamacare without really having a follow up is quite a laugh.
