btw the flynn thing only matters insofar as it removes someone who has counterintel experience(though flynn himself got caught stealing stuff way back when) so the likelihood of getting trump on something bad goes up a bit.

What she did was neither brave or correct. Its brave and correct to not do what you feel is legaly or moraly wrong in your duty. If she had just resigned in protest it would be a much different story if she didn't decide to go into the busienss for herself and pull a stupid stunt like directing the justice department to do something that would be countermanded in a matter of hours.

Also I always love the armchair Logan Act attorneys that pop up from time to time. If that law was actually Constitutional you'd think someone would have gone down for it during the Cold War. From Ted Kennedy, to the 1984 Letter to Ortega, to Henry Kissinger, to John Kerry. But sure, this is gonna be the time! You realize that the unsourced reports were what started this whole story, right? It's not like anyone went on record confirming the FBI had wiretaps demonstrating Flynn had lied to Pence about discussing sanctions. There's no way for us to verify these stories were true any more than there was a way for us to verify the dossier was an appendix to docs briefing Trump (shockingly, both turned out to be true because people don't fabricate sources when they work at real papers). Also, clearly Trump picks the best people. I can't remember who it was in the thread that wanted a Flynn running mate at one point, but that would clearly have been a disaster judging by how he couldn't even last a month.

take it for what it's worth, depending on your knowledge of the sources. it is not unsourced. they separated the sources file becuz they are the assets of the private firm. the public just dont have the capacity to evaluate the sources

Priebus, bannon, Conway, spicer, and Flynn all seem to be nutcases and unfortunately I think one of them is doing the leaking. Trump needs to find the mole.

The common theme a lot of Trump’s inner circle is that they were bad at their last job and left trail of destruction behind them. Did you pay attention to the campaign? No person has trumpslained at such a high level, not even Conway. He was loyal, articulate and stood by trump through the entire mess. Now in the White House he is the mediator between trump and the establishment. You can't ask for more from a vp, who's job is already irrelevant unless the most extreme circumstances.
