Or maybe they just don't care? Looking at the election results, it is not that they don't care, they are actually just that dumb.

I'm definitely buying, but I'm just curious cause with Bush I lost 10k in my 401k....

Trump has the will.

If you sort the polls by education, you see that majority of people with college education vote Clinton, and people with lower education vote Trump. That's what you hear in media all the time, and you might then think that poor people all vote Trump, but that might not be true.
If you sort the polls by income, you'll see that the majority of poor people vote Clinton. After a certain income level, the majority is for Trump.
Check out this poll here for example: http://cesrusc.org/election/

Obviously I'll have my opinion on things but insofar as the results won't really affect my day to day life in an immediate way, it's hard to muster more than an apathetic reaction, regardless of the results.
Exception of course being people who actually made money betting on the election. It's the same bullshit as Brexit. They don't care they just want funny shit to happen for their entertainment.
And this is pretty funny.

It takes more than a single presidential election to uproot the Washington establishment. They've been playing damage control since the day Trump became the Republican nominee, and until the public figures out they need to actually care about more than the presidential election, they'll stay where they are.

When you say money, are you just holding cash? If so then it makes no sense to cash out. Even if you have index funds, the reason you hold them is to mitigate risk through diversification.

Where is BiffTheUndestudy? I cant wait to see his comment. Remember him calling Hillary our princess or something like that? He really liked to rub it in.

We'll see. I'll bet nothing will happen. I will say this though: people are WAY too excited about this win. There will be a harsh disappointment for people (you included) once you realize how little will change.

Michael Moore is like, the one who called it, and time will tell to see if he is right. Once the adrenaline wears off, people will start to think rationally.

At least Trump Pence is going to crush the bernie bro agenda, meaning I'll get to remind them this is why you don't protest vote for 4 years and how ever long the supreme court is tipped by this

Uhhh, it has already dropped probably the largest amount it will, and it would have to drop a shit ton more for it to make the penalty worth it.
