It's kind of weird to see people in this thread who don't live in the US be more excited about a Trump win than I've been about any election I've been alive for.
Obviously I'll have my opinion on things but insofar as the results won't really affect my day to day life in an immediate way, it's hard to muster more than an apathetic reaction, regardless of the results.
Exception of course being people who actually made money betting on the election.

So in case anyone cares in light of everything else that's happening, I think we're having another electoral-popular vote split.

It's already fucked before you even decide to pull you money nearly 800 points of DOW futures are gone.

Dude, she's still a clinton. It's not the "obama regime" protecting her, but her name. And that didn't change.

Not the place to ask such questions to be honest.

Only during active trading, although I just saw a tweet that they shut down futures trading.
Not sure everyone realized that this is what "blowing things up" looks like. Or maybe they just don't care?

Now where is LordTolkien, he owes me a 1 year ban. I think GGTemplar stands to gain more, but that would make you the second-biggest banbet winner behind him?

Could she freaking lose PA?
Not only did Clinton lose it looks like she might be clobbered. This is hilarious and fun, and I even fucking voted for Clinton...
They really chose the only person that could lose to The Donald. For real reasons or not so many people in this Country absolutely despise her and her husband and that clearly shows tonight.
I always thought Bernie would do better and I'm more sure of that than ever now.

I mean Comey is the one "protecting" clinton, hard to say Obama is behind that.

I don't support market timing, but if you see this as Brexit 2.0 it's a buying opportunity.

Like I thought. This will be used by the Democrats in every "obstructionist" move they make for the next 4 years.
That and bitching about the EC, which we will hear again.

For them, Trump represents a fuck-you to a candidate that is the epitome of everything that people despise about the status quo. And they don't have to live with the consequences, at least not directly. I can absolutely see where they're coming from.

Large impact on Canada too.
And hey, in Alberta with have Notley... Before Obama wouldn't take our oil because it was dirty, and now, meh. I look forward to seeing what the future brings. Maybe I stuck to the wrong side, but I am excited to see what comes of it, because the big brother style government, and trying to suppress natural human traits that the democrats were doing, just didn't seem right to me.

if anything you take everything out, hold it, then put it all back in once the bottom hits.
my 401k is like 30-35 years out anyway, so meh, theres only 5k in it since I've just started. I'll just get a lot more shares next pay period.
I have another investment account which is weighted more towards bonds as short term investment, but the stocks in it are gonna crash.
