I mean that's just politics. Friends one day, enemies another.
I'm much more surprised by the fact that he wasn't yelling nonsense and ranting about how the primaries were rigged against Hillary.

Yeah its well known the Clinton's were at Trumps wedding. But this is video of Trump verbally going down on both of them. Saying she's a very nice woman, at the minimum a great senator, Bill was a great president who was fantastic for the economy, etc. Its literally the polar opposite of what he's saying now. It certainly isn't a good look 2 weeks before the election. It should be patently obvious to everyone that he's nothing but a conman. He's not the opposite of a politician who will say anything to be elected, he's an even worse version of the same.

Fair enough, I'll take your word for it as I wasn't aware. I think it's in starker contrast now post all sorts of insults they traded, though. It'd be a fat pitch for dems to go 1-2-3 on his video quotes 1. 'I'm not a politician nobody speaks the truth more than me' 2.'Such a nasty woman' 3.'Hillary's a great wife and senator'.
As for hardcore tinfoil hatting, I think even Breitbart doesn't go there.

Negative Trump news is useless. His ratings have bottomed out.
No one who now supports Trump is going to stop doing so because of a video like that, it will never enter their consciousness (since the other 34853 videos of Trump saying bad stuff didn't either). And people who are not voting Trump but not voting Hillary either will not be swayed by it.

No one cares about his core, that's not the point and never has been (besides for him since he doesn't understand pandering to his core doesn't help win). The only people anyone needs to reach is the people in the middle, the undecideds, independents, and wishy washy folks. They're the ONLY people who matter. It does him no favors with them.

Donald Trump is the only candidate who can defeat Hillary Clinton, he suggested Tuesday, laughing at Republicans who may be considering mounting a run in 2020.
Hailing his campaign as a movement during his rally in Sanford, Florida, Trump told supporters this would be the last chance they have.
“Four years, it’s over. It’s over,” he said. “In four years, you don’t have a chance.”
Trump was seemingly sending a message to people like House Speaker Paul Ryan, Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton and vanquished GOP primary rivals Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, household names considered likely to challenge a President Clinton for the White House in 2020.
“All these characters, they wanna run in four years,” Trump said. “They can forget it. They’re wasting their time. You don’t have even a little bit of a chance. This is it, and we’re really close.”
Trump suggested in an interview last week that Ryan in particular may be rooting for his downfall, surmising that the Republican House leader abandoned Trump's campaign because he either wants to run in 2020 or doesn’t know how to win.
On Tuesday, the Republican presidential nominee called on the entire Republican Party to coalesce behind his candidacy, a sign of how fractured the party is given that its nominee is still pleading for its leaders to back him just weeks out from Election Day.

If polls continue on their trajectory, Hillary will probably end up winning with about a 4-5% leads overall. I highly doubt that there will be anything released that will change the campaign drastically, but there's always a chance

Considering the incredibly controversial persona of Trump I don't believe there is a significant undecided voter block left to aim at.

trump scandals still matter for casual voters who take more of a social approach to voting rather than policy or ideology. the suburban republican women in particular.

I don't understand how anyone is an undecided voter honestly. Doesn't make any sense that people still haven't come to any conclusions on who they'd like to vote for. But there are people that are reluctantly narrowly voting for the man. If they see him worshiping her on film 8 years ago they might come to their senses. Though if its taken that much I don't believe they have much in the way of senses. I'll take any additional number of people not voting for him. I don't want him to lose, I want him to be humiliated.

North Dakota police arrested more than 120 people over the weekend at Native American oil pipeline protests, including film-makers and journalists, prompting accusations that law enforcement officials are stifling free speech and using excessive force against peaceful protesters.
There were increasingly tense clashes between police and demonstrators against the Dakota access pipeline, which the Standing Rock Sioux tribe says is a threat to its water supply and cultural heritage.
Reporters and protesters recently released from jail told the Guardian that police aggressively targeted nonviolent demonstrators with batons and pepper spray and indiscriminately arrested journalists and film-makers before issuing “riot” and “criminal trespassing” charges.
“I’ve covered conflicts overseas, and I never imagined I would see this kind of show of force against peaceful people,” said Jihan Hafiz, a freelance journalist who was arrested hours after she arrived on Saturday. “This is the kind of thing you see in the Middle East.”
The Morton County sheriff’s office said a total of 127 people were arrested over the weekend, including two juveniles, and that they were facing a range of charges, including reckless endangerment, criminal trespass, engaging in a riot, resisting arrest and assault on a peace officer.
Police officials, who did not respond to a request for an interview, said there had been a total of 269 arrests at the protest since August.
The mass arrests occurred less than a week after a judge rejected prosecutors’ riot charges against Amy Goodman, the broadcast journalist and popular Democracy Now! host whose arrest warrant sparked a national outcry about free speech violations. The actor Shailene Woodley also recently made headlines when she was arrested for participating in the protest.
Local Native American residents and activists from across the US have traveled to the site to try to block a planned $3.7bn oil pipeline, which would transport fracked crude from North Dakota’s Bakken oil field to a refinery near Chicago.
The tribe has alleged that the project could destroy sacred lands and has also taken the fight to court. Some say the demonstration represents an unprecedented movement bringing together tribes, indigenous rights groups and climate activists.
But law enforcement officials have painted the protests as illegal, dangerous and violent – and in recent weeks it appears that police have intensified their response efforts and called in additional law enforcement resources.

I'd imagine their viewpoint is fairly close to mine - that both candidates have proven themselves unfit for the position, but they're holding out a sliver of hope for evidence to the contrary.
I'm a step further off-center, though; I view the presidential election as a decision over whether we want to become the next Russia or the next Nigeria. Thus I'm currently leaning Trump over Clinton but planning to protest vote a third party candidate.

an odd way of phrasing it, as becoming the next russia or nigeria isn't an option, neither could cause near that much damage.
have you picked a 3rd party candidate yet?

What is it that made you say Nigeria?

One of the candidates seeks to bring eternal winter by reversing climate change and to import bears on unicycles, the other wants to transform the country into a desert wasteland that sells oil. Obviously.

Buckyman, wow. One thing for you mate : the days of pre-Lehman, 5%-per-annum economic growth are gone, everywhere in the world, for the foreseeable future. Once you realize that - and that politicians have very little to do with it, it's about debt and population demographics, largely - you'll see that compared to blocks such as Japan and Europe, the US with its sub-5% unemployment rate and the most innovative talent pool in the world is doing mighty fine.

Maybe the fact that until this year the country was posting 6% annual GDP growth for like a decade ?

Nigeria => government that's overtly corrupt to the point of being nonfunctional Russia => Nuclear armed power with an egotistical leader who's intent on expanding its influence in the middle east
Although both Trump and Clinton's respect for open political discourse seems to be on par with Russia's, so I can see how you might be confused.
