If lashes out like On_Slaught predicts he will lose support not because he's a misogynist but because he can't control himself. Like I said, people who care about misogyny stopped supporting him long time ago but people who think he's playing 4d chess might finally realize he's not as tremendous as he says he is.
I'm pretty sure that the only reason he did that is because his campaign staff were practically holding a gun to his head and forcing him to read off of a script. Not only does his original statement show us how little he cares about the subject, but literally every piece of evidence that we've seen from his campaign shows us that when he's left to his own devices to talk and respond to things, he's a narcissistic, ego-maniacal loudmouth that has zero brain-to-mouth filter and can't let any slight go without responding.
Unless a miracle occurs, this man is going to go up in flames tomorrow.
I also find it bizarre that anyone thinks Pence is a decent candidate. First, he's the textbook definition of a Republican politician; spouts vague platitudes about trickle-down economics and "freedom" and has been a politician for a very long time. Second, he's disgustingly socially conservative in all the wrong ways that will drive up opposition to him; he believes both evolution and climate change are false (and has been more vocal about it than Trump), he's supported gay conversion therapy in the past, was against efforts in his states to address the HIV epidemic, is extremely anti-abortion, and fought for that anti-LGBTQ law in Indiana, not to mention that Indiana isn't exactly a shining beacon of prosperity under his term. Finally (and most importantly), he is forever tied to Trump now for supporting him at all, let alone for so long, and blatantly lying for him multiple times.

Yes, it is a small chance. It comes down to this debate. He has to completely abandon defense and have reasonable polished attacks on clinton. He has to hit her on every scandal she has ever been a part of in the last 30 years. No time for defense at all. If he were to defend himself, it has to be with humility, meaning he has to apologize and humble himself. Both of these things are highly unlikely, but if he can do them he will still have a chance. I don't have high hopes though, corruption wins in the end. Same old same old. corruption always wins; the question is which corruption you vote for. not really, but it's more amusing as a statement. What corruption is worse? Hillary or Trump? Trump, no questions asked. The man has shown that he will bribe, lie, cheat and abuse to get what he wants. And he is terrible at it. I disagree 100%
...You think he's good at it? Eh, I think you might have a point. He's been doing it for decades and hasn't really been held accountable. And he would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for that meddling presidential election!!!

According to the Washington post he might be legaly obligated since in many states they already started to vote and also for administrative and technical reason. For exemple they told one election (for gouvernor I think) saw a dead candidate win. He died soon before the election so it was too late to change it, the party said that his wife was going to take his place if he won, and she did.
So I guess Pence could say that he is going to resing is Trump is elected and told people to vote for someone else/ cancel their presidential vote, but he will be on the ticket no matter what it seem.

I just don't see it from this perspective no matter how hard I try. I am going to vote Trump regardless of tomorrow's debate. This is just another slander case like the DUI case against Bush back in 2000, where Bush ended up coming out with an apology and eventually winning the election. Do you seriously believe Hillary is always sunshine and rainbows? There are plenty of accounts of how nasty and narcissistic she is to those who work for her. Not to mention the fact she is running a negative campaign as she piggybacks the media through every turn. It is evident the chips are stacked against Trump due to how he attacks the establishment, which is why I believe this was a clearly planned drop from both sides of the aisle. However, I'd like to believe Americans can see this for exactly what this is; A Ploy.
I vote on policy, not feelings.

Who cares about the debates? There are a million reasons besides "Trump sucks at debating" not to vote for Trump.
I vote on policy, not feelings.
Which of Trump's policies do you support?

You obviously only vote on feelings since you continue to be so delusional about these two candidates.

I give Trump credit for bringing to light problems that the political establishment has failed to properly address. But when pressed, he has failed to demonstrate the knowledge and expertise necessary to develop sound solutions that hold up to scrutiny, and the blunders of others in his campaign this entire season have not convinced me that he has the ability to assess advisers properly for their capacity to do the work for him.
Policy is not soundbites and rally speeches. Policy is all the backroom dirty work that goes into turning ideas into actions. And Trump has failed to inspire any confidence whatsoever in his ability to do the latter.
|
As a would-be policy wonk, I'd gladly address all those problems. Sadly, we don't get to discuss policy much this election (or any election really, but this one seems a bit even worse in that regard)

It's nice seeing all of the GOP's team players showing their proud faces. They can't even accept their own nominee, let alone Obama.

After my post, there were 3 comments. 2 were Hillary supporters foaming at the mouth because I spoke against her, and the third was yours, a good question. So, I will respond to yours.
His policy choices align with mine and the direction I would like the country to take in the next 4 years. Immigration, education (removal of common core), foreign policy, and economy.
I could care less about social issues. I'd rather get the country profitable and growing before worrying about LGBT or gender issues.

Would you do me a favour and explain Common Core to me, specifically the parts that make you feel the whole thing should be removed.

1) I'm not a Hillary supporter.
2) How do you reconcile the fact that none of what Trump proposes will actually work? That his economic policy would be an unmitigated disaster? That he has repeatedly demonstrated that he has no clue how to accomplish things politically?
3) It says a lot about the type of person that you are when you don't give a shit about social issues.
