What corruption is worse? Hillary or Trump?

With some candidates, they have some pretty impressive debate tricks. Clever rhetorical devices, leveraging policy knowledge to look very experienced, and other such tactics that make it clear it would be hard to beat them in a head-to-head. I see none of that in Trump or Hillary. They are mediocre-at-best debaters that really wouldn't be hard to beat for someone who prepares well against them. It's what makes it so remarkable to me that Bernie Sanders, for example, couldn't manage to prep properly for what should have been a rather easy smackdown, and also that Trump fell into a pitfall every time he had a chance to make Hillary look like a fool.

Just a reminder that we still have a full month to go with the worst of the dirt yet to be used. Pretty sure there is more to come for Trump and the GOP knows it. Time to stop contesting the presidency, withdraw support for Trump and worry about keeping Congress

I'm not a Trump supporter but I think this pussy thing shouldn't affect his chances too much. People who care about such things stopped supporting him long time ago. Some posters mentioned that many important republicans undendorsed Trump but we should remember that no one cared about those endorsements, it was only interesting when someone refused to endorse.

It matters, at least, because it drastically increases his chances of fucking this debate up. Now he will go in angry and on the defensive, like a cornered dog. Expect him to lash out and make a fool out of himself.

I think the main reason to think it will affect his chances is that he actually apologized. If his own campaign managed to convince him to do more than tweet about it, I think they probably had some hard evidence it was going to be a problem.
This does not make all those suburban white housewives he's been courting want anything to do with him. And when he's already leaking like a sieve, that's a terrible sign.

Trump was never going to win with just his core supporters, he needs a decent number of people in the middle to have any chance of coming close to winning. As it is he's getting destroyed in polling and it's only going to get worse, we could see a 10-15 percent blowout if Trump's very terrible sad week stretches on for a third or fourth week. The GOP isn't stupid, they see the writing on the wall and are going to try to save themselves.

How many senator have gone against Trump in public? I feel like the whole party is going for his head.

I expected him to tweet something dumb like "well she was a slut anyway so I don't see a problem with what I said" but instead he issued an apology which makes me believe he understands it's a touchy subject and he should be really careful when someone brings it up during the debate.
If lashes out like On_Slaught predicts he will lose support not because he's a misogynist but because he can't control himself. Like I said, people who care about misogyny stopped supporting him long time ago but people who think he's playing 4d chess might finally realize he's not as tremendous as he says he is.

See the problem is that despite endless inquiries and investigations there is actually no any real scandals in her history.
Despite all the attempts there still is no smoking gun.
If Trump tries what you suggest he comes off as a complete idiot. He needs to convince independents. Not Tea Party nutjobs.

whoops. You are so anti-Clinton that it's hard to take you seriously. I can practically taste just how salty you still are from Bernie's loss. I'm anti terrible government and Hillary supporters have been wholly blinded by Trump. I'm salty, too. It would've been a great thing for the world on many levels, and this was the perfect opportunity. Bernie could have really wiped away a lot of the bullshit that effects America's political discourse, especially when put in contrast to Trump's ego-driven empty campaign. But, I find it hard to think about that at all when the GOP are actually trying to elect Trump. I'll hate on Hillary after she wins. Call me blinded, call me a Hillary supporter, I don't care. And the WikiLeaks... Assange has turned out to be a really self-important grudge-keeper. I'm disappointed. This has turned out to just be another instance in a nauseatingly-long list of instances of people making exaggerated or false claim about Hillary Clinton. At this point, either prove she's a criminal... or just stop. Because for me, it's actually making me empathize with her. The best thing about her victory, for me, will be the spite of all the people who have spent decades demonizing this woman. I've read so many of these "damning" e-mails and sound-bites that I'm supposed to be outraged by, the Podesta emails, her Wall Street speech,... and there's nothing there! Most of what I see actually just shows she's an extremely pragmatic individual who actually does want to do good things. I mean, I was expecting some real right-wing stuff or political-collusion from that Wall Street speech... and I would've been okay with it to a degree. But really... it's just a normal speech. If anything, I've been pleasantly pleased by these things that WikiLeaks thinks should outrage me. If this is her "hidden secret", if this is her showing her inner right-wing side, then I'm totally good with voting for her. Her Wall street speeches show more that she was lying through her teeth to the left than anything criminal. Unless of course we're to believe she's lying to them after giving her millions of dollars and not to us (like she showed she was doing the whole campaign). A lot has been said about the lowering of the bar by Trump (and it's true), but Hillary has lowered the hell out of the bar on the left as well with little/no outcry from her supporters. Can you give me an example from one of Hillary's speeches which demonstrates that she was lying through her teeth to the "left", and/or lowered the bar? I think it's best encapsulated in the quote As for lowering the bar, one concrete example is when DWS removed the restrictions on lobbyist cash into the DNC. So as a Bernie supporter you see in transcripts Clinton saying in private that she's for single payer healthcare, for clean energy, for holding bankers accountable for wrongdoing, and you think you've found a gotcha in some platitude about being different in private than in public?

ohhhh my god.
Real talk: Does Pence have a reason to remain on the ticket at this point? Sure, it isn't physically impossible for Trump to win. But anyone looking to have a post-2016 career is ditching him.
