Giuliani jumped the shark when he joined Team Donald Trump for US President out of personal ambition.

I was just listening to the debate again and I noticed when Hillary said she had a live fact checker going on her website, Trump was like, check mine also. I dont think he had one ?

I think at one point, Trump told someone "My website must have everything Hilary's has plus A LOT more.", and just kinda figured if its on her website, it is for sure on his, and much better.

It's just like Trump's completely impoverished vocabulary. He's absolutely living in a George Foreman grill commercial. Whenever something comes up he just acts louder and screams "tremendously" as if that actually means something. He actually produced zero policies during the debate last night and just seemed confused and in over his head. I still haven't figured out how he made it that far.

Well zero is harsh.. when he came out swinging early on with the trade talk and NAFTA etc he had some stuff that could qualify as policy. He was winning on trade (even if he was wrong but thats subjective) until he got baited and started putting his name at the top of bullshit mountain.

"I want the hugest websites! It's gotta be tremendous, with the biggest pages. I make the best pages. And young people have to love it. My 10 year old is an expert at the cyber, it has to be a big hit with the cyber. Like that Google thing, but bigger."

Mental exercise i went through just now. Even if you remove things like his xenophobic rhetoric and his misogynistic tendencies I still dont think I would vote for him. I mean the guy just doesnt seem like someone I would want to run my country only if I were to look at him as a businessman, or just any kind of professional. And this is with all the skeletons HIllary has on that front.

Having 16 other candidates on the stage with him during the Republican debates certainly helped him. Debates are the time that candidates are forced to speak pointedly and at length about policy - it's not a time you can ramble. That's why I think this debate exposed him once and for all.
He got to this point by being good on TV for the durations of time required (in between commercial breaks; not long). But that was mainly beneficial for the primaries, because while he's good on TV, he's also very brash which is a weakness for the larger audience of the general. Post-Conway, he got more disciplined, no press conferences, teleprompters everywhere, and his poll numbers rose. The debate forced him to be his improvising, pre-Conway self again, exposed to full view for 90 minutes. That's just not an environment that works for a TV candidate. The TV candidate is trained for regular TV appearances, but the debates are a very different thing, and only happen once every four years.

So, I'd like to at some point today do a sample debate for us; wherein we each get to be presidential candidates and answer some questions. I know some people expressed interest last night. So who wants to be a candidate (I do!), who wants to be the moderator, and people can send questions to the moderator once we pick someone.

He can score points with trade due to the sheer popularity of populist positions on the issue, but his criticism without a doubt makes no sense. A while ago he asserted that China is part of TPP, after all his constant rambling against China is a staple. But that makes no sense at all, TPP exists to get the SEA countries into a trade block with the US precisely to keep China out of it and this kind of stuff is simply part of Obama's focus on the Asian region. Against the backdrop of Obama's policies this whole anti-trade and anti-China talk is completely confused.

I'd watch that if the rule was that people had to answer in the style of their candidate. So you can't just write what Trump should say, you'd have to right what Trump would say.

The three debates shoulda focus on separate issues. Last night could have been just economy and foreign policy.

I think the TPP has been discussed to death and the issues with it regarding labour management/movement, Investor rights and IP. So Im not gonna go there.
But thing is since being against TPP is a populist position on both the right and the left its fair to just give up on it for now because anything negative you say about it is automatically truth.

I rememeber nothing from last night but I don't see anything interesting happened so I don't care now.

I get the anger about trade deals, but the TPP is a weird target because it is designed to assure we have markets for our products. Markets that we could lose to China.
Its like the Ford claim by Trump, that they are leaving. Ford has spent all morning correcting that statement, since they are not leaving and are just opening a new plant in Mexico. And that wasn’t a plant that was going to be open in the US.

Trump: - Sinking an Iranian ship in international waters would not cause war - Stop and frisk is constitutional - Many people agree with Trump calling Rosie O'Donnell a pig - Being under audit prevents him from releasing tax returns - Took credit for forcing Obama to release his birth certificate
