Edit: I would like to stress that I don't think any of the Trumps are actually Republicans, but the kids do a really good impersonation. She'll do fine. Not even Bill Maher goes after her

What did he say about education?

Ivanka's going to crush it. That's why she had the "please don't f this up" face on every time a sibling was speaking, and a pleasantly surprised look every time they got applause or delivered a line well.
I expect Ivanka to nail the major emotions, She'll start with something playful, then pull on the heart strings, tell a story of overcoming, briefly mention why Trump's better than Clinton and finish strong with a vision of the future. It will be the best of the convention.

Supposedly Jake Tapper said Don Jr. is the Trump kid who is/was actually a registered Republican. Though since when, who knows.
It's not important enough for more posts.

Basically that public education is trash because we only care about teachers, and that all families should be able to choose where they send their kids.
Obviously, if you have tens of thousands of dollars, you can choose which private school to send your kids, but he was referring to the idea that families should be able to choose which public school district they go to. Not only does that not make any sense in terms of property taxes and what you pay your hometown vs. schooltown, but it's actually a really bad idea to oversaturate certain schools and ignore others. It's much better to work to ensure that all public schools have enough resources and infrastructure to succeed.

It should be good, as long as it wasn't also the best speech given at a previous Democratic convention.

That's fine, but I was under the impression that Hillary has been more progressive and left that the usual Democratic president, but is catering to the Tea Party movement and that kind of stuff that important to win over the base? I think with a slightly different message, and the message that was being sent closer early-mid republican primaries (without the vulgarity) would have been much better to win over the independents and the people who are not hardcore evangelicals... The evangelicals are going to vote for you anyway, aren't they?

I'd love to see her debate Chelsea. Ivanka's problem is she loves her dad but isn't a big fan of his politics. For those wondering about an appeal to the middle, expect the best one to come from her.

Carson must not be tired from campaigning! lol.
Or maybe the prompter people are keeping him on a steady pace.
Apparently he's off script. So idk

Once Carson finishes, someone please give a recap/review. I'd love to know how he did, can't listen in atm.

He just played six degrees of separation, connecting Hillary to Satan. Not joking.

He spent 2 minutes making fun of Hillary's mentor for putting a dedication to 'Lucifer' in one of his books
He's definitely not sleepy Ben tonight though, he's awake xD
