The DNC proved that it isn't very good at securing other people's data, so I'm curious if that will lead to trust issues. Potential donors who worry that their private information might get leaked is certainly a possibility. What other choice do they have this year?

Probably going to lead to more contributions to the Clinton campaign directly (as far as I know it hasn't been hacked) and SuperPACs (also relatively unscathed afaik). Mostly an issue for downballot races, I think.

I hate being attributed to Russia." romanian hacktivists, exposing the truth since 2016. lol, just lol.

Interview: http://motherboard.vice.com/read/dnc-hacker-guccifer-20-interview But when we asked him to explain to us how he hacked into the DNC in Romanian, he seemed to stall us, and said he didn’t want to “waste” his time doing that. The few short sentences he sent in Romanian were filled with mistakes, according to several Romanian native speakers.

it's also clear that it isn't the case that there wasn't a tea party of the left. there was. it's just that due to demographic concentration and overall lack of organization, it did not have much influence on actual politics until the general election. the overall effect of the green tea party isn't the construction of a congressional bloc, but the production of internet based media and organizing protests. the right votes, the left whines. basically sums up the two tea parties.

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio announced Wednesday he will run for re-election to a second term, reversing his prior pledge that he would not try to return to the Senate if he lost his bid for the Republican presidential nomination. In an 18-paragraph statement posted on Twitter, Rubio said there's "too much at stake." "Control of the Senate may very well come down to the race in Florida," he said. "That means the future of the Supreme Court will be determined by the Florida Senate seat. It means the future of the disastrous Iran nuclear deal will be determined by the Florida Senate seat. It means the direction of our country’s fiscal and economic policies will be determined by this Senate seat. The stakes for our nation could not be higher." Source
