So when Trump says "100 million Americans think you have blood on your hands, how can you expect the loyalty of the American servicemen you betrayed?" does anyone think the high road will work? Cause I feel like people will just hear blood and betrayal and then tune out whatever defense she responds with. If she brings up the fact that she was exonerated of responsibility it'll just be more "so you think the American public can't tell right from wrong? That the people, good citizens, who hold you accountable are idiots? It just shows how corrupt, elitist and of touch you political insiders are!".
In the Republican primaries many tried the high road with Trump and discovered that the voters didn't care about the truth or being right. This is going to turn into a soundbyte war.

I highly doubt that the Democrats are going to beat Trump at his own game. Hillary's attempts to play have been hilariously bad so far.

We are not the target of those remarks. It is the many independent voters that are going to be faced with the binary choice come election day. And the fraud and thin skinned angle might gain traction with some people were already on the fence about Trump.

Trump now saying it is a disgrace to our country that Clinton is even allowed to run? What a sad time. This is just so sad. I'm embarrassed. How in the world did we let it become acceptable to talk like this x_x

Donald Trump has stepped up his attack on the federal judge presiding over the Trump University fraud case, telling the Wall Street Journal that Gonzalo Curiel’s assignment to the case represents “an absolute conflict” because he is “of Mexican heritage”.
“I’m building a wall,” Trump said, of his proposed 2,000-mile barrier along the US-Mexico border with the stated goal of preventing undocumented immigrants from entering the country. “It’s an inherent conflict of interest.”
The presumptive Republican presidential nominee’s statements follow a speech in San Diego last week in which he lambasted Curiel as “a hater of Donald Trump” and “a total disgrace”.
“They ought to look into Judge Curiel,” Trump declared at the time, “because what Judge Curiel is doing is a total disgrace.” Trump also asserted that the Indiana-born Curiel “happens to be, we believe, Mexican, which is great”.
Curiel was born in Indiana, to parents who came from Mexico.
Soon after Trump’s comments to the Wall Street Journal were published, the candidate himself was implicated in questions of official impartiality on the Trump University case. A report from the Associated Press published on Thursday evening revealed that the presumptive Republican nominee donated tens of thousands of dollars to attorney generals who declined to pursue fraud charges against the now-defunct organization.

Is that judges family from Mexico?

I wonder if Trump was beaten up by a Mexican kid when he was in school and hasn't yet worked it out. Is Trump honestly saying here that having a Mexican judge presents a conflict of interest because Trump happens to hate Mexicans?

When did the left allow it's commies and socialists to run wild and attack people in the streets?

Is that poop on the floor, serial harasser Chuck Johnson? Yep, yep it is. Literal human garbage.

We are going to need a years worth of supporting evidence to prove that.

I actually agree with this wholeheartedly. Doesn't make him right, though.

I think its more that the perception of "PC nazis" then reality but its a fair point. Whitey feels like they are under siege, doesn't matter how true it is or not and Trump's movement is partly a reaction to that.

His whole "I'm sick of having to buy politicians to get what I want" is something only he has been able to pull off. Not clear how Hillary's camp would counter that.

That is partly what I don't get. People complain about big money interests having too much influence and screwing over the little guy....so people think skipping the middleman (the politician) and just electing one of these rich people will be good?

The PC movement took itself way too seriously. It started long before us but it's gone way too far. Some possibly enjoyable pieces on the subject for everyone. Even kids in the hall didn't think there'd be 31+ genders like Baskin Robbins flavours, but here we are. + Show Spoiler +

We are in the middle of trying to balance the relative power in our society. It will get messy at times and people will fuck up and go top far. There is some merit to making sure we don't go too far in the opposite direction in the name of being PC. That being said, in the larger picture it hasn't yet but people are reacting as if we are in the liberal version of 1984. People react very viscerally to a few anecdotes and it just creates a mess with two sides who think the other side is causing all the problems in society. Nuance is lost because they are issues that have a large number of complex interactions that are all tied together so its easier for people to grasp onto smaller and simpler views of a particular subject.
Everyone just latches on to whatever example is floating around the internet for "their side" and think "Aha! this example proves that this is a widespread thing!"

But anyway, the narrative doesn't really work when people call Trump a bully and then on this page say he gets "triggered" because of the penis thing. I hope Hillary continues down the road of trying to attack him rather than figuring out an actual way to beat him, because if they play by his rules, he's going to be better at it.
I don't really understand how the narrative that Trump is thin-skinned conflicts with the narrative that he's a bully. In fact, most of the people I've known in real life that I would call bullies are incredibly thin-skinned and flew off the handle when you criticized them-that's a big part of being a bully.
Besides, the small hands situation ended up getting played as "Rubio sinks to Trump's level, Trump kept bringing it up" with a huge emphasis on the former to the point it killed his campaign.
That kinda showed you're far better off outmaneuvering a bully than outbullying him.
On another note, calling the judge a Mexican is an absurdly transparent method to drive the media away from the whole "Trump University defrauded students" story towards the "Trump said another bad thing about Mexicans xD" story that has already been played to the hilt and that any Trump supporter will dismiss out of hand for their own reasons. But of course the media doesn't mind.

I can't be the only person looking at this as lose-lose. This election is going to be Nero vs Caligula, and in the end we all end up losing. The Democrats and Republicans are god awful. How about we just skip to the end and let bygones be bygones and let the "red" states and "blue" states go their separate ways. Why would anyone want to be in a union with people they hate? This country is beyond dysfunctional.
