YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – A child born in Iran has a greater chance of survival than a black child born in Youngstown. That’s the issue health professionals all across Mahoning County are trying to deal with. According to data published by the Mahoning Youngstown Infant Mortality Coalition, African-American babies in Youngstown are three times more likely to die than white babies. Mahoning County Health Commissioner Pat Sweeney has been dealing with those numbers since she took office four years ago. “It’s just been staggering,” Sweeney said. “That’s true inequity. That’s not disparity. There is something going on in the community, institutionally that has made it so a black infant, no matter what the mother’s education is, has less likelihood of surviving to its first birthday than a white infant in this community. That we have to change,” Sweeney said. Health officials are trying to get every baby to their first birthday. So they’re bringing conversations about race and culture into the doctor’s offices. A program is underway to educate physicians and their patients. Youngstown Health Commissioner Erin Bishop says once that underlying issue has been addressed, doctors can start addressing the medical issues leading to babies’ death such as prematurity and sudden infant death syndrome. If you get 47% percent of the delegates with 37-40% of the popular vote and your party doesn't nominate you because it looks like ~40% of the party doesn't want to nominate you, you don't get to riot buddy. | ||

He needs to calm them down and stop pitting them against other Americans. I dunno if this all is just a giant joke for him but the hate he creates will probably stay for much longer. | ||

He's moderate on Oh yeah, real thuggish. That's why he has so much support. People who see through those lame ass tricks aren't taking the bait. NYT just ran, "Donald wants to Make America White Again". Every media outlet is attacking the shit out of him and they've been running on all cylinders for the entire campaign. It's delicious that the shit only makes him more popular. | ||

I don't think any candidate should be suggesting violence will take place if a party decided not to nominate someone that will be harmful to them. And don't give me the "he is being honest" shit.
