Most of what I have seen are direct quotes or clips from his rallies, where you can see he is an agitator who can barely string a sentence together. Plenty of people see him speaking the truth but the problem is they are seeing it wrong. The man is a liar. It has been proven over and over again. | ||

The media made that controversy. Not Trump. He told the truth on an unsettling and hard to talk about issue. He did it bluntly and without tact, sure. But he did it. They've misconstrued almost everything he has ever said by taking soundbites and what not, and not his full explanations. They are literally trying to get him assassinated. I would say that what happened Chicago is 0% his fault but they constantly tried to pin it on him. What was it? A complete lack of maturity from that voter base. I was really happy when Trump didn't go to Chicago. Both major gangs in Chicago had made countless threats of violence towards him and a lot more violence happened there than just "5 arrests". The police were told to actively not arrest people. The media actually wants someone from the public to assassinate him. When CNN put that creep on who rushed the stage and gave him a voice as if he didn't just try to kill a man? Beyond disgusting. Journalism proved it was dead right there. "You're saying things we don't like!! We'll try to interrupt you and silence you." So many assassination threats have become mainstream, and so many of them think it's ok because it's Trump. No, it's not ok. So yes, Trump lies when he talks to Evangelicals, or has to pander to specific parts of the Republican base. But I think he's honest about what he sees are bad trade deals and jobs. I do not see him as a sociopathic liar. I see Ted Cruz as one. Hillary has always been a career politician as well. And I simply think Bernies utopia doesn't mesh with actual reality at this point in time. Maybe in the future, but not at this point in time. | ||

Really, I find the entire whining about silencing Trump to be hilarious. Pretty much any criticism of him is unfair, media bashing, including when he tells his supporters he liked it when protesters left on a stretcher. | ||

Yes, he got his father's money. But at least he did something. He ran huge businesses. During all that time Wilders was just working as a photo copyist or hiding away in his bunker. | ||

But I find it amusing to see Trump supporters incensed over the comparison. TL.net is better moderated than other sites and Hitler references outside of iPlay.Nettles are uncommon here relative to other message boards where politics are discussed. But I must say, after 8 years of hearing here (somewhat) and elsewhere (a lot) about "Liberal Fascism" and convoluted explanations for how Hitler was actually a liberal and how Obama supporters like unions and ACORN are jack booted thugs and how Jews guns were taken and that was how the Holocaust happened and Obama is trying to do that here and on and on with the crazed equivalencies peddled by many on the right, it tastes soooo sweet to hear the outrage over Trump/Hitler analogies. At least with Trump we have actual rallies, with actual hand-raised pledging, with actual (if mild by comparison) violence and incitement to violence. | ||
