I expect the tone of that race to change quite a bit, now that they are staring down the double barrel of Trump. You are going to hear Clinton and Sanders talking about supporting whoever wins very soon.

That is the rule that needs changing, forcing Senator and House Reps to stay in Washington. There was a day when their whole families moved to Washington and things were a lot better. Hard line conservatives bought flowers for Ted Kennedy's wife on her birthday. Shit got worse when they could just run home to their state and were not forced to deal with the people they were hired to deal with.

Everyone knew he was endorsing Hillary, he was just holding off to boost registration. Plus he basically saved her ass. http://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/2016/02/20/hillary-clinton-wins-nevada-caucus-harry-reid-culinary-union-jon-ralston/80688750/

He tried his best to spin it all away, I'll give him that. It was a little too conspicuous in the media, to be involved in the crafting not just a vocal supporter. The conservative base saw it as just another attempt to ram amnesty down the throats of the electorate ('07 was another low watermark). In a continuing 3-way race, Trump gets nomination easily. I think he still wins nomination even if Rubio or Cruz were to drop out.

I am trying to make sense of the Clinton email scandal thing, and there is so much disinformation and confusion that it's tough to make heads or tails of it. So, is this accurate: Clinton used a private server for work emails, when she was supposed to use the government server. This is because of 1.) Security and 2.) the government server would keep copies of her emails. When copies of the emails were requested, her staff took forever to give the requested emails and tons of them were missing. Clinton claims that none of the emails were marked classified at the time of correspondence, but if that is the case then she is supposed to turn them over when they become classified? Also, a server was specifically set up for her to have classified correspondence but said server was never used. Is this accurate?

When the University of Texas released a report last week detailing where it plans to allow guns on its Austin campus, Nora Dolliver’s choice of graduate schools narrowed by one. The languages student at the University of Chicago sent an email to staff with the subject “Declining Offer of Admission Due to Campus Carry Guidelines”, and will now pursue a dual masters in Russian and Eastern European studies and library sciences elsewhere. Someplace where she can feel confident that the person she is sitting next to is not packing a concealed pistol. Students and academics have warned of a chilling effect on freedom of expression ever since Texas became the latest state to pass a “campus carry” law last year. It compels public universities to allow license holders aged 21 and over to bring concealed handguns on to most areas of campus. The faculty senate at the University of Houston prepared a slideshow for recent faculty forums warning that academics may want to “be careful discussing sensitive topics; drop certain topics from your curriculum; not ‘go there’ if you sense anger; limit student access off hours; go to appointment-only office hours; only meet ‘that student’ in controlled circumstances.” A slide provides potential arguments against the policy, such as “most parents don’t want their underage children to attend a gun-enabled campus” and “The MILITARY doesn’t allow guns in barracks and classrooms (outside of weapons training), why should there be guns in dorms and classrooms?” The presentation is not official university policy, which is expected to be announced in the next couple of months. Jonathan Snow, the senate president, has told the governing body that faculty members are overwhelmingly opposed to the new rule. “It’s a radical law because guns have never really been a part of American university campuses,” Snow said. “I can no longer say there will be no guns in my classroom, that makes me a criminal.” Proponents say that it will only arm a small number of responsible license holders who have undergone training and background checks and that guns were already allowed in some outside areas of Texas campuses. But Snow and many at the University of Texas (UT), the state’s top-ranked major public university, are worried there will be a “brain drain” of students and staff who will leave or, like Dolliver, never enroll. And whatever aide thought tilt was a bright idea to make an old person seem young by using words like "chill" and "amirite" in a "snapchat" needs to be fired ASAP. Is this supposed to appeal to young people? I admit, I'm not one, but the best case scenario I can imagine is that crap like that backfires and goes viral for being dumb as fuck.

A "How do you do, fellow kids?" moment if I ever saw one. It wasn't even that funny of a joke to begin with.

Does anyone else get the feeling that this country is reaching a boiling point where things might turn violent on any number of issues? I just feel like there are so many fractured, angry factions now. I hope I'm wrong. Articles like this feel like satire pieces you'd read on the Onion or something. Except no one is laughing anymore.
