In German law the criminal actually has a 'right to re-socialisation' once the sentence is served. If what was posted above is true, then it's an educational thing for prisoners to be told about the law. If they assume they are excluded, then they won't vote, thinking "believing" that they don't have the right to.

Second body pulled out of the car.
edit: that makes three. One dead on the street, one dead in the truck, one in custody (not confirmed shooter), and another perimeter around a house, may have a suspect in it.

what kind of justification is that?
everyone has a chance to get robbed in their life, that means everyone should be equipped with weapons that will actually help people execute these criminal activities?
you've been banned every month for the past 3 months...damn.

It's a retarded assumption in this case especially, because it was an award ceremony/christmas party. I've never heard of an award ceremony where the audience is packing heavily.

That guy in the house, or is that another one?
Was a proper shootout, one of the police cars was hit as well - so i assume, these are the guys that they were looking for.
edit
Press conference update:
One officer injured in the shootout, not critical. One more suspect on the run.

Cameras showing the police going in tactical positions around the house.
So much for my earlier comment.

Trump will have a field day if that turns out to be true.

He's a populist. He will have a field day whatever the ethnicity.

It's not outside the realm of possibility that the cops could be incidentally running into drug cartel operatives (as opposed to the actual shooters) when hunting for the dark SUV.

True.
Reporter on KTLA just said, you need keycards etc to get into the office building that was the scene of the shooting, further indicating that it was not a random mass shooting.

I care slightly less about "themselves" and more about "accidentally/ purposely shooting a family member or any other person".

If it's a Cartel it would be a massive mistake as this has the whole US nation on alert. The last thing Cartels want is to give the US reason to do even more to affect supply/operations.

As a Canadian socialist apparatchik dog and a gun owner, I feel like these concerns are legitimate but I'm a guy who goes above and beyond what's legally required. I own two rifles that are stored unloaded in a gun safe, the ammo is in another room, and there's a trigger lock on each rifle.
There's something fundamentally fucked up about taking those things lightly and sadly it gives me a bad name. Lethal force is to be treated with an amount of respect that many just don't seem to have. This macho confidence that everything's going to be alright and that shit things only happen to lesser individuals, it's disconcerting.
