So dressing in drag is not a costume?
The unrealistic sound of these propositions is indicative, not of their utopian character, but of the strength of the forces which prevent their realization.

I thought it was two, but maybe not. Perhaps commercials don't count.

I actually wish the "climate change debate" was just as much about preparedness to deal with rising temperatures and erratic weather as it was about arguing about whether human beings cause it. Like, okay, you don't or you do think carbon emissions increase sea levels, but we should still have a plan to deal with them if they get higher (looking at both sides of the aisle).

Rand Paul is all for dirty air, everyone gets to breathe it in if he were president.

Now Rand Paul is just pulling stuff out of his ass in hopes of staying in the main debates.

Indeed, and if I were around, I'd be happy to debate and discuss plans for that.
I wonder if there's any new info on the odds of the gulf current shutting down, last I heard it was looking strongly like it wouldn't happen (woudln't be a problem).
it's supposed to be 2 hours, I guess they ran over; which is fair considering how often the candidates go over time.

My thoughts on Yale:

"I don’t want to debate. I want to talk about my pain."
+ Show Spoiler +

These people could stand to hear more insults and feel more pain. Maybe even go hungry for half a day for once in their lives. Dressing up as something you're not is not always racism; cosplay, D&D, Halloween, and Renaissance fairs are not KKK rallies.

I see the Yale Herald is blocking all non-Yale IPs from reading their articles now; what a stunning way to take negative publicity and public criticism.

Jeb Bush just said burning more fossil fuels is solving climate change... He's not even trying anymore.

In America it kind of is via natural gas. Even without signing Kyoto protocol we are beating most the countries that did...

Winners are Trump, Cruz, and Rubio. Jeb was very weak once again. Carson should remain the same. Rand Paul scored some good points, but he's not going anywhere. Fiorina came off as being a little too bitchy at one point in the debate, which probably isn't going to serve her well. Kasich tried too hard and made a big error when sparring with Cruz on the banking issues.

We must embrace our drug related death rate...or something...thanks Carson.

Also I wonder how many Secretaries of State Trump can actually name (bet he doesn't know Reagan's)

responses to some finishing remarks:
Fiorina outright lying, trash.
not much to say on others, mostly the same ol' problems and issues.

Moderating seemed good this debate. I wonder if there's any candidate who didn't go seriously over time.

I'm just happy these moderators learned their lesson. Let people like Kasich drown themselves.

Agreed completely. Just wish Rand had a chance of going somewhere, even if he didn't win, he could hopefully spread some logic to the public.

Oh my god I didn't even know how big of a fuckup Reagan's first Secretary of State was when I posted that, holy cow. I can't imagine in what universe Clinton was a worse SoS than Haig.

Sad how few of these people sound like they'd do a better job as president then me. Even with political disagreements, I expect every candidate for President should be obviously better at the job than I would be.
