Cruz and the gold standard.
What does he think a "lender of last resort" is? That's literally bailing out a bank with lower-than-market interest rates.

No, I forget what site even does Pinocchio's. But I looked 2 debates ago and like all his "I'm the realistic guy" statements were rated poorly. The rest of what he talks about is complete non-sequitors.

Never mind the fact that inflation is under 1% and the dollar is pretty strong right now..

Is this kasich tlaking now? I'm still not sure on all the faces. This guy doens't seem to get how FDIC works.
|
Crowd is booing banking insurance or government guarantees on savings?
|
Also Ted Cruz earlier wanted to end several Government entities but just said he wanted the Fed to target Gold prices... I mean really?
|
Stupid Fiorina, using the word Socialism incorrectly, even considering how many different meanings it has she uses the one that means stuff she dislikes.

The problem is that Kasich and Cruz were conflating FDIC insurance with bailing out a bank. The two aren't the same thing.

I don't think he's doing himself any favors.

Fiorina did a decent job articulating on such a short time the strategy of creating a problem with government programs, then proposing a second program to fix says problem.

Screw all those people who did. Gotta bury all your money in the backyard.

It's been the 21st century for a while Rubio. Also I have no idea what what you're saying has to do with Hillary Clinton's experience as Secretary of State.

I think it was mainly Kasich with the problem on that topic, but then again I was tabbed out at that time.
|
That was the greatest way to state "anti-homosexual".

We shoulda bombed all those dudes - Cruz

He's trying to convince the geriatrics in the audience they're the future.

(I mean, I think Walt Disney was a historically racist guy or something, but the company isn't necessarily racist for having a princess of a certain race or ethnicity.) I've seen white girls dress as Pocahontas before. They didn't use blackface or whatever the equivalent would be for Native Americans. Sorry to necro this argument but the Yale email mentioned "Indian feathers." If a white girl was wearing Native-American garb and a feather that wouldn't be offensive in the slightest? I bet I can find people who disagree. What about a white girl dressing up as Tiana from the Princess and the Frog? Without blackface? Is your position here solely that blackface is the only thing that's off-limits because that is not what the Yale email was about.
I think this status sums up my position on the issue:

Politicians talked a lot about corporate aversion in 2012 and 2008 (and even 2004), Trump, I'm not sure you watched the elections.
