I don't see Kespa being that mad to be honest.... Probably not thrilled about Sea going to a Non kespa team. But he was on T8 the team they are currently funding with no sponsors correct? So that a decent Salary they now longer have to pay...
This is kespa, they don't like their players going to other teams. If they hate the idea of players going to esf, how are they going react to foreign teams picking up kespa pros. Reason and tolerance are not kespa's virtues.

I'm glad it got leaked before TL announced it because I'm sick of teams doing announcement of announcements, so serves them right to have someone break it before they make it official if they want to drag it out.

True it is Kespa, but I would imagine they'd be happier about him going to a Foreign team then to esf really. Not about reason or Tolerance either, it's about money which they don't have. Not having to pay Sea+ The chance to try and put up a good image to the newer foreign fans in the sc2 scene will imo override any chance of backlash.
I'm not saying they would be happy about about. I'm merely saying they aren't going to be pissed and that I doubt we will see any backlash.

Yea, he's quite well known here because he was one of the only korean pros, let alone TOP korean pros (at the time) who interacted with the foreign community. He was on TLAttack, and did lots of interviews, etc. He fits into the team atmosphere nicely.

they lose a big player which could bring some great sponsor. that is why they will not be happy. it can only mean bad news if sea leave the boat

Sea was also a Good player in BW I think he was top 30(?) for the majority of his career. Just always seemed to choke/die out in individual leagues. Never really got his break out tournament, A perfect pick up for Teamliquids stance of recruiting players then helping them achieve more. With his Mechanics I can see him taking down a Foreign tournament or two....

I don't really think Sea is a make or break a sponsorship deal kind of player. Not when T8 still has Jaedong anyway. but it is true him leaving could hurt chances of getting a sponsor, but seeing as they couldn't find one the whole time he was there I don't think that is a factor.

I wonder if they just made an exemption for Sea or if there's something serious going on in T8 team house..
M18M's in light he has 66% win rate against flash.

Silly to use that as a gauge of any measurement though because their peaks were at different times (Sea's before Flash's).
I remember attributing Sea's decline, in my head, to a bad team atmosphere at MBC. Hopefully, it's something easy to fix like that and not loss of motivation or whatever.
So happy to see TL going after some real talent. Who do you think is going to benefit more from this though, Taeja or Sea? Either way, TL Terran lineup is boss.
