No worries he'll flash you articles about how he's a millionaire or something and retired at 21. Except he's never paid out any money and has ripped off people i know.
The best was he promised to pay to fly out a team in Sc2 he was supposed to be sponsoring for an MLG about I'd say a year ago. I think it may have been itsgosu and pretty sure he screwed em on expenses and not paying what he said he would I have paid out of pocket nearly 70k past 5 years just myself. You are spitting out rumors and conjecture if you want to actually get the truth can ask me personally. What do you do? Because I have a pretty successful career and I haven't paid $70k out of pocket for anything, save taxes, in the last 5 years.
Chill come on man 70K !!!!!!!!!!!! obviously if he said it must be true. He's retired at 21 with lots of money just ask him about all money he has and the house he's building for his team. Oh don't forget to ask him for the infamous article he'll show you bout all the monies he has before recruiting you. (the article maybe true but everything else is B.S. )

I have a feeling Blackfoger wishes he hadn't have posted this in the first place...
I like how the very first post was someone who knew about him. Infamy.

Blight?
ohhh these guys?
They ticked off the tf2 guys, the Counter strike guys, the C&C guys, the DOTA guys, the LOL guys, the Sc2 guys, and the Halo and call of duty guys.
wow... thats quite the list of people and organizations they ticked off and ripped off.

Its really not that hard rather than coming here and causing a ton of unnecessary drama. im starting to see what Tasteless was talking about with forums..
Oh ok. So a person with a bad history of scamming people potentially scams a korean progamer, and instead of trying to expose him as a scam artist and warn crane and future players, we should just ignore him and let him continue trick players into signing for him. This isn't pointless player drama, people's careers could be at risk from this kid. Do a bit of thinking next time you post.

I think saltthew have account Typestw on ladder, so I doubt he is joining Blight

Wait what? can someone tell me what's wrong here? They recruited a new player and? What's wrong with that? Someone has some past story about this guy?

To sum it up: blackfoger, the team's manager, is known for not paying (either entirely or only some of the money) what he has promised, and also have screwed over some teams by not purchasing airline tickets on time/not purchasing tickets at all before LAN tournaments. This wasn't an one-time issue; it has been repeating.

Can someone explain to me how exactly is that guy making profits from scamming players (if he really does that)?

Read the thread. There is history of this organization being very disingenuous and not paying for or reimbursing its players for salary or travel expenses.

The contract says that he takes their tournament wins to 'manage' for the players. He promises paying for flights, accomodation etc. and never does that. There's a lot of reading in this thread with examples and cases you might wanna read on.

Maybe he just is a pathological liar and mentally ill, and wants to be the "owner" of an esports team. I can't believe so many people have fell for it after the wealth of information of all his past scams.
|
So whens his written response coming out? and where?
|
I really wonder why this isn't illegal.
I also really wonder why people don't read contracts or demand translations(This even moreso, you can lose millions of dollars very easily even to someone who's been friendly with you for years).
Oh right, blackfoger, when's your 18th birthday?
|
Yeah seems he has some issues, pathological liar dreaming about owning a big team was my first thought as well. I don't think any totally sane scammer would post so enthusiastic on TL like he did, after screwing so many teams in the past.

Okay, that's cute. I'm not exactly worried that they will fall for his promises.

I didn't ask about what he isn't doing. I'm asking how is it profitable to scam average pro or semi-pro players. I read some posts in this thread and I understand the problem. I just wonder how doing something like this can pay off.

Or at least google the name of the guy that wants you to sign his contract. 1 minute work, but if he's a known scammer you will find out.
When I worked at a webcompany we never did that, until we found out on television that one of our customers was the main scammer of the Netherlands at that time lol. He bought companies, stripped them, and let them go bankrupt. He also had at least 10 websites made before at other webcompanies and never paid for a single one of them lol.

Some people don't measure their satisfaction by money.

Sad that Crane didn't have anyone to watch over him like Crank did.
My bet is on 2-3 months before Blight fucks this kid over and leaves his butthole gaping in an alley somewhere.
