Given they will work with community sites there will be keyes so you can just buy it off ebay, probably a lot cheaper then wow + 1 year subscription. Also imo the beta should come out between monday (first day after gamescom) and the monday after that. | ||

Just wait and do nothing. There was already the 1.5 Betatesting Competition. I reviewed like 3 games there, because you could just not find other people there - so the chance is pretty high that you get a beta-invite if you have helped test 1.5 Arcade. | ||

I did almost max out on reviewing for 1.5 on 2 accounts. Hopefully they won't dq me for that. I don't quite understand their beta key strategy. Wol was easy to get into with a preorder, the WoW expansion required a 1 year subscription and Diablo 3 was ridiculously hard to get into. Hopefully they are very generous with HOTS keys and provide a preorder or prepurchase mechanism. If they wanted to milk it for maximum money though and possibly get people back into WoW they would do a 1 yr WoW subscription. | ||

Only true in this , yes invites are random There were stores that gave beta keys when you pre-ordered (100% sure) (in US, dunno about Europe). I received my key from a friend. The friend received the key from blizzard, with the purpose to invite a friend, so this is also true. | ||
