Wow Desrow, that sounds like a pretty shitty thing to do.
I mean how would you feel if you made a deal with someone, fufil your end of the bargain (+ give a 70$ mic), then a couple of weeks later the guy is asking you for more money & when you don't give him any he goes & tries to sabotage a great opportunity you have. You would be so pissed, & probably the 1st one to come here & complain.
The guy had no idea he would make that much money. Essentially he took a risk. His project could have failed & he could have made less money then it cost to pay you, & you would have still wanted him to keep his end of the bargain no? And rightly so might I add.
Would you have waived the money he promised you if he wouldn't have made enough money? Of course not & why should you. I dunno man, as far as I'm concerned you pulled a dick/greedy move here & you've lost my esteem (but that's not important). From what you said, it looks like your ""friends"" are the ones who got into your head & made you think you were getting ripped off. Don't listen to them man, they are either jealous of you or jealous of the other guy (maximus).
How could you go & sabotage that guys deal? Can you imagine how outraged & disgusted you would be if someone did that to you? Next time you should, instead of getting paid a fixed fee, ask for a share of the profits/donations. But once again, if you do that you'll be taking a risk, much like that other guy (Maximus, damn I keep forgetting his name) did.
Come on Desrow. Apologize to the man for trying to sabotage his deal & move on. Keep training, kicking ass, & being the nice guy you promised you would start being. Stuff like this will on ly make the haters hate you more, & possible partners/teams/tournaments not want to work with you even more.

After CSN telling Maximus what I told them, he realize that this whole story could get out and that his persona would be compromised. He then agreed to pay an extra 300$ out of spite. In the context of the scenario you are describing, asking someone for more money later on is an awkward way of doing business, as it was not part of the original deal. Sure it would have been a cool thing for Maximus to do; but he is not obligated too. If you were happy enough to accept the original offer, then pressuring someone for more money implies your mind is geared towards improving your current financial state; as opposed to recognizing that there was a flaw in your original negotiations, and introspecting as to how you could avoid such an outcome by objectively improving this aspect of your life. It seemed like you used the opinions of others to gain the confidence to justify/actuate such a non-progressive internal desire. As you are describing, the deal you agreed to did not include a parameter which scaled based on the revenue of Maximus' stream. I feel like you should calm down; I don't know exactly how Maximus reacted to the situation because your description is the only context... Since you claim he was being aggressive I assume that spawned from a defensive reaction that someone might have after being done with a week-long project, and feeling like they had already facilitated their end of the deal. I don't really know either of you; but I hope everyone calms down. It sounds more to me like desrow isn't that experienced a businessman and got swindled, and then clumsily tried to get a fair cut. Is MaximusBlack legally in the right? Of course, but it isn't very classy move by MB nonetheless.
uh this sounds like blackmail lol. desrow got what was previously agreed upon, then after tried to pull maximus' heart strings to give him more money, and then when maximus was understandably like "uh wtf bro" he goes behind the scenes to try to sabatoge maximus' reputation with people who employ him? and then EVEN THOUGH maximus gave him more money, he still goes public?

MaximusBlack just revealed the entire thing on his stream, and part of his reasoning was Desrow going on a large rant about LastShadow, revealing personal details about him and forcing MaximusBlack to delete 8 hours worth of content on his channel because LastShadow was pissed about it and he didn't want the drama.

I'm just saying sometimes it seems unfair that MB raises up this little army every time there's something coming up. You could say that players like IdrA have their own little armies too, but I've never seen IdrA going buck wild about some post on his stream, he just plays games. Some players seem to cultivate drama.

Why would Desrow ask for more money after the fact? That's just bad business.
There was an agreement for coaching for a specific dollar value. Services provided, and paid for as agreed.
You don't come out later and ask for more money if you found out your EMPLOYER did well on the gig after the fact.
He got lots of exposure, lots of feedback, and lots of followers. And he got paid as well, as he AGREED in ADVANCE.
MB was your EMPLOYER Desrow.
Now, what's worse - that MB offered some additional money after the fact - call it what you want, even if you want to call it shut up money, or whatever - out of good will?
OR:
that Desrow is asking for more money after the fact? So, can a prosective team that is looking to pick up Desrow be afraid that if the team lands a big sponsor - that desrow is going to ask for more money because his employer is making more?

I've lost all respect for Desrow, and am quite disgusted with the way he acted, and the way he presented himself. Desrow, quite frankly, you are wrong in every single way. Maximus brough you under his own roof, did you a favour as on average he gets 5x more viewers than you, exposed you to 4000+ people each day during the boot camp, and you turn your back and do this to him. You're a grown man, show some respect and some class. You owe thousands of likes, follows and future views to Jeff. You made disgusting jokes, 99% about his fiance and are now blackmailing Jeff. He gave you everything you needed, wanted, could ask for + more, especially after trying to ruin his chances with CSN? You're sick. I hope you never get picked up by another team, as you don't deserve it, because people like you will get nowhere.
