Education is the crucial step. Spreading love and understanding is an important step. Let's move in those directions rather than filling a thread full of babble that doesn't absolutely nothing in the fight against racism/bullying. I'll just call you white boy from now on. The company's support of the StarCraft player Steven "Destiny" Bonnell has increased my desire to purchase razor products in the future. I appreciate razor's commitment to supporting eSports and its players, and I would simply like to say thank you." Attempting to slander a promineate player in the community for expressing emotion does in no why help this game, scene, or any players related to esports. I send one and I hope others follow. Even if you are stupid enough to be offended by that you should rather write to quantic or destiny. It is pretty dumb to be offended by his flames in a private time ladder game. In the more professional broadcasted tourneys I could understand this thread, but this time I question the mental sanity of a lot of persons in this thread.

So if Obama says each and every person that ever thought of the Koran, doesn't belong in this world, than what?! America would oppose because their representative behaves in a way that harms them. Destiny, who sadly IS a representative of the SC2 community (being a 'pro') is doing exactly the same thing. The community (america, in this metaphor) resists, AND HAS REASON TO DO SO! Your counterargument, based on the ludicrous grounds that the public speech of an elected official is equitable to that of a professional Sc2 player, is terrible. Try again.

So just beacuse Destiny is one of the `Big Faces` of Starcraft 2 that means he has to become a loving/daring and sophisticated person? No, but he needs to learn that with his popularity comes responsibility and that in that responsibility means learning to think before you speak. Many people of all races/ethnic backgrounds, of all shapes and sizes watch his stream. He needs to learn to think before he speaks to the thousands watching. Especially in the Starcraft 2 scene where the Asian community is such a huge part of it. I brought this up earlier, but look at what happened to the Marlins manager Ozzie Guillen. He said some choice things that infuriated many Cuba-Americans. It hurt the team even more since the majority of their fanbase is Cuban-American and playing in South Florida where a lot of Cuban-Americans call home.

You cannot actually think that, in general, "[i]t's disgusting that people think it's okay to try to force others to act in a certain way." That would entail that ANY regulation of others' behavior, either by community norms (say, of politeness) or by legal means (say, making murder illegal) are 'disgusting.' There are plenty of ways that we are forced to behave. I am not 'ashamed' of myself because I want people to be forced not to kill one another. And I do not think that people should be ashamed if they want to stand up and say that they do not accept public use of racist language.

If the implication is that it takes a 12 year old (or typical 12 year old characteristics) to be upset with this language, I think that is false as well. The idea is that any human capable of rational thought over the age of 12 will not become upset at something someone else says. "12 year old" simply means sheltered and / or irrational person, befitting of people who have not lived in this world very long. Think of it as a concession I'm making. Rather than assuming that you people are all autistic, I just assume your childish behavior comes from actually being a child. That's pretty nice of me to do. Second, I do not think that people who want to publicly decry the use of this language need to have an opinion on whether Destiny "gives a fuck about them". Whether or not he even notices the thread, the thread could still have a good effect. The point of the thread (as evidenced by the OP), has nothing to do with language. OP preemptively GGed, he's pretty obviously a douchebag. He made this thread to +1 his e-cock because he made Destiny mad, kind of like people posting IdrA rage screens. On the topic of actual censorship and restriction of free speech, as explained above, pretty much anyone who isn't suffering from Aspergers, and is over the age of 12 isn't going to care about something a video game player types in a ladder match.
