To be fair, you guys are underestimating Stephano too. He has quite solid mechanics and over 200 EPM. Flash wouldn't be able to beat him without knowing how the units work without massively outmacroing him, and that's not really going to happen. Note that I said massively.

Of all Sc2 players to point to, you pick Stephano? Lol. He wins because of his strats, not because of his mechanics.

Also how fun is it to see people make the first 20-25 moves out of memory. Only to pull out a novelty their staff of GM's has prepared over the last 3 months? Also 35.48% of the games end in a draw. I have 10k+ games played online and bughouse is a viable alternative since it branches more. Second life is a game. If you don't know this you are getting played & owned like a little noob ^^ Pay tax much? Saying BW is better than sc2. To me it's just neanderthals & cro-magnons saying homo sapiens are inferior ^^ There will always be defenders of the status quo. They are scared of the unknown future of being out evolved and losing their priviledges. Holding on to anything is like holding on to your breath. You will suffocate. I was just responding to them, they were the ones who brought up Stephano. Flash with his skills should absolutely dominate every other player in like 6 months. Unless of course there's no place for a large skill gap like this, because SC2 is too easy too play. Go Flash! You can't have it both ways. I'm going to have it the other way round. The first time a foreigner takes a series off him is going to be a wonderful thing. In fact, even funnier will be if someone as good as Thorzain absolutely crushes him. I mean, we already have the supreme overlord of WC3 playing (Moon) and his career hasn't exactly been star spangled, has it. What makes you think Flash will be any different?

Aka he wont have stupid 14 or whatever winning streaks. But this is mostly sad news for me, but hopefully blizz realizes that sc2 is a waste of Flashs, Jaedongs... talents and makes the game 2x times harder. I can, dream cant I?

It wouldn't matter how much Flash practiced if he never learned what the units did. All SC2 strategy relies on knowing what the units do, so Flash's only way of winning would be with his mechanics. marineking almost won a GSL by massing marines, Flash can certainly put an uppity foreigner in his place with them I vote that he will be a good player, but he will still be just another really good player. NesTea all killed GSL's im sure a broodwar pro will be able to accomplish that sometime

When MKP encountered a player who had decent strategy, he was smashed.

I thought you meant GSL January haha. But yes, with decent mechanics, you can beat players with worse mechanics.
