Yeah that would be a great pickup for them and they have started to clear some cap space, so we will see what happens. I think it would be a great fit tbh. Dallas should try to keep Marion too, but I don't know if that is realistic unless Marion gives the team a break.

So they should just blow it all up and start over? What are you suggesting? Its not like there are a lot of options in free agency and would you really want Dwight Howard on your team even if he would leave Orlando?

You had a point? ok? rose is the leagues MVP who lead the bulls to homecourt advantage in finals, the aging celtic's garnett and "best in the west" spurs who played manu during the playoffs were not in the same situation as the bulls...

I guess that's my mistake for buying into the hype they built around themselves when they won all those games in the regular season without Rose this season.

Yes they were. Losing Garnett in 2009 who was still one of the best players in the league, along with the Spurs losing the 3rd best SG in the league at the time is a pretty big deal. For any team losing a player in the prime rotation is a big fucking deal.

I can link you to interviews with bulls players saying that without rose healthy in the play offs they aren't going anywhere. most of those games were won agianst shit teams as well

It's funny you call the Celtics "aging" in this post when they still made it to the Conference semi-finals without Garnett as well as the NBA finals all the way to Game 7 the following season and are looking prime to make it out of the first round THIS season. EDIT: What the fuck! What World am I living in where I'm a Laker fan actually defending the Celtics? I feel dirty right now.

Sarcastic putdown to people who make stupid arguments. Although the relevance in this case is lost on me.

The point is that injuries are a part of basketball especially in the post season. Making Rose's injury out to be something super special is a discredit to all of the other major injuries that have happened throughout NBA playoff history.
