people root for celtics and thunder because they earned it. from management down to the players, they worked to create teams worthy of nba finals appearances.
heat is like the dumb superstar imba team an 8 year old makes in a nba game. truth be said, lebron and bosh deserved better than what they got in clevland and toronto, but taking the easy way out earns you no cred.
go thunder.

I am an unashamed boston fan, but they built that team on turning talented player into other talented players that fit better, and by trading for two of the best players in the game. They would not be this good with out forming a super team. If you are going to bash the heat for buying talent than you have to do the same for Boston. They would be good with out the trades for garnett and allen, but they would not have won a championship and been a threat for as long as they have. The heat did what they did as a reaction to the success the Celtics had. That being said the thunder have built most of their team by the draft, and getting a couple of good trades. Come back Perk </3.

Hoping for game 7 series tbh. That should be freaking awesome.

I guess every team that doesn't win the championship is overhyped. And past accomplishment doesn't deserve credit. And there's anything other than past performance to go by.

I gotta be honest. The thing that intrigues me the most about this series (not the durant or lebron will win their first championship part) but if the Thunder win...Derek Fisher will have as many rings as MJ

Heat in 6. DO IT FOR SEATTLE lol i live in seattle. loved the sonics, and i love the thunder. everyone here either hates them or loves them. just how it is. this is the finals matchup i predicted in brackets and wanted to see so im pretty stoked. but i really dont know who im going to be rooting for. ill probably root for whoever is down in the series, so it might change every game :D 7 games please! FOR THE FANS! I'm a Kings fan but if (when) the Maloofs move the Kings out of Sac, there is no chance of me being a fan of the Anaheim or wherever else Kings. That's absolutely ridiculous that as a Sonics fan you would be just fine and dandy with Clay Bennett stealing your team and classless assholes selling shirts like this: ![[image loading]](http://larrybrownsports.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/okc-thunder-seattle-shirt-530x414.jpg) It's really interesting the difference a year makes in the perception of this Miami team. Who would have ever thought that they'd be pegged as underdogs in a series? There's no question that OKC has the deeper team, but Miami has the best player on the planet playing at or near the best he's ever played, and Miami's defense is better than anything OKC's faced so far. OKC's got some real matchup problems if the Heat go small with Bosh at the 5 and LeBron playing PF as well, which I fully expect them to do plenty of. But, in the end, this outcome of this series will probably be determined at the shooting guard slot: is the real D. Wade going to show up this series, and can he stop Harden?
nah see, this is exactly why people here LITERALLY either hate em or love em.
if you're saying that i like clay bennett and his decision, then you couldn't be more wrong.
i like the thunder because of the players, not the owner. it wasnt the player's decision to move, they had absolutely no say which is kind of obvious. players dont decide big corporate kind of decisions, its the owners.
plus more than anyone, it was the fan's fault in the first place. fans and city actually. pretty shitty ticket sales and refusal to build a bigger and better accommodating arena are probably two of the only real reasons the decision was made in the first place.
anyways. im happy that we got to keep our name. next team we get will be rockin them sonics name and jerseys again :D

Want Lebron to get a ring but its going to be a tough one to pull out.

Good on you for the positive attitude, but the shitty ticket sales are due in large part to management deciding repeatedly to mail in seasons for draft picks. This worked out amazingly well because the players they got turned out better than anyone could have hoped for and it helped justify the move. But yeah, I'll be happy for you guys when you get your Sonics back. Seattle deserves an NBA team.

Well ESPN has the world convinced that the Heat have no chance and Lebron is a choker.
Pulled 2 game winning performances out of his ass to beat the best (albeit somewhat tiring near the end) D in the league 2 games straight looking down the barrel ? Nope LBJ isnt champion material.

I don't think the poll is about if Miami is a championship caliber team, it's more about how many people dislike Lebron + people who think the Thunder can beat the Heat.

This post is nothing more than a bitter little 8 year old fanboy that is butthurt that his most despised team is in the finals.
The winner of the NBA finals is the one who earns it. Nothing more, nothing less.
You think you are the judge of who "earns" what? Here's a cookie.

They questioned his ability to do it in the finals. Everyone knows Lebron's a very good playoff performer. His 2 appearances in the finals however, have been rather poor, though the first time was up against a very scary Spurs with a weak team.

I don't really think about this stuff because I don't care, but I can see how you might think the Heat are colluding cheaters who are ruining basketball.

Lol ESPN has convinced everyone that watches ESPN that the Heat are terrible. They always talk mad trash about the Heat, even the commentators.

I voted for the Thunder in that poll, not because I have some hatred or disrespect for the Heat, but because I just think the Thunder are a better team.
