Depends how you look at it: either you think Dallas turned it on entering the playoffs, or OKC fell off entering the playoffs. I'm in the former camp.

Anyone else feel like the refs were letting them play a little too much in the OKC-DAL game? I saw some pretty blatant stuff in that game, i.e. blatant two-hand shoving, full-on holding, etc. Maybe it's because I'm kind of rooting for DAL, but it also seemed like OKC was getting away quite a bit of physicality, although that may just have been them taking better advantage of all the leeway the refs were giving both teams. I'm all for "playoff basketball" where games get a bit rougher, but fouls are fouls and you still have to stay consistent with the rules. Seems more unreasonable seeing as how they still had a few plays where they called some touch fouls, so you can't even say it was entirely consistent throughtout.

Just asking out of curiosity. Like I said, it could easily have been me being a bit biased as a result of cheering for the Mavs this game.

Thats something I had a problem with. Ive picked OKC to take this in a long series but there was a fair bit of inconsistency which was annoying. I dont care if they call the game tight or not but thats really annoying, and it makes the game harder to play for the players aswell. Dallas suffered a fair bit on that end imo.

On the upside though the Knicks seem to play better when they only have one of Stoudemire/Anthony playing for some strange reason.

I still dont think they have any real chance against the Heat but stranger things have happened in professional sports.

This is something that has long boggled my mind.. take Shaq for instance, he's a huuuuge guy with a lot of post moves (obviously as time went by he got more moves and got better, but so did his opponents) since high school - he must've known that people HAD to foul in order to stop him?
