When I hear Van Gundy complaining about diving, I can't help thinking that today's diving might actually be better than actually seeing guys go down because they got hit in the solar plexus, or players's ankles turned because the defender intentionally slipped their foot under the landing spot while the guy was coming down for a dunk. Referee intimidation. I may sound old, but a league of thespians is better than a league of surreptitious elbows.

Just use your judgement. Nobody here has any magical basketball knowledge and even the people getting paid millions to be experts are dead wrong sometimes.

Yeah, Im just theorycrafting the same way some ppl do here, its like saying miami would sweep if bosh played. Its comical ppl forget we dont even have a real center, imagine Bosh playing center for Miami on a regular basis - laughable, right? Not for KG. Im glad we have size but I also think we will not be ok without Pierce and Pietrus stepping up. Its funny how no one even expects Ray to do anything meaningful other than drag defenders through screens. This team had so much potential on paper.

I guess I'm just afraid of utterly misinterpreting the numbers (which many people do). Hope my judgment grows with time though ;P Personally it's actually sort of fun and mind-opening just to read what other people think and try to construct an accurate image of where teams stand based solely on other people's thoughts, biased or not.
