So sad that I can't watch neither of this games as they start at 3 o'clock in the morning here. That's like the worst time possible... At least game 4 of OKC vs SA is in the night from Saturday to Sunday, so I try to catch that one

Great game by the Thunder. Going small more was great for them, but they just generally played a lot harder and executed better. Not surprising as younger players/teams and role players tend to play significantly better at home, and that is one of the best home courts in the league right now. The opposite effect is true for the visiting teams, so I wasn't surprised to see the Spurs supporting cast underperform as well, particularly in the face of such insane high-pressure defense.

Personally, I think the Spurs will play much better next game as they were clearly unprepared and overwhelmed by OKC's much higher intensity this game. No greater indication than the huge amount of TO's from a team that normally takes such great care of the ball. By the time they play the next game, they will have recovered and be better prepared to handle the pressure. Fewer TO's will allow them to run their offense better, and also take away a lot of the offense the Thunder generated off of TO's in this game.

Good news for the Thunder is that they can clearly score against the Spurs, so all they really have to focus on is their defense. Bad news is that it's highly unlikely that the Spurs offense will be stifled the way it was in this game for very long, so they need to be ready to make adjustments. Popovic is too good of a coach to not find solutions to OKC's defensive adjustments, and their roster is too good and sprinkled with enough veteran experience and savvy to be rattled for long.

I think this series is starting to get interesting now because I'm curiuos to see how the Spurs react to this game and how the Thunder will try to anticipate their adjustments.

Furious pace to this game. Bostons legs are going to give way if this keeps up even though theyre doing a decent job at the moment. Pfft I just dont see Miami hurting the Spurs or OKC the way they are doing it to Boston, this cheap points into rhythm style kinda risky for them long term.

Its funny that the heat are only 2 points behind despite Bosh not playing and DWade basically being useless in the first half...I dont think Boston have any chance to even win one game in this series

Clearly you know. They only went to OT in a game where every call went against them and are winning this game with Lebron playing out of his mind.

All this with Avery Bradley out and Ray Allen hobbling around like he's 50. Not to mention their Paul Pierce sub hasn't played a game all season.
