Third step, being able to skip pages or block out entire posts to not feel dumber after. There are some good posters who are just learning basketball so I don't mind them, but there are definitely some borderline trolls sometimes. And lol at the Bill Walton trip. And Donaghy has been going on a media run lately, to whoever mentioned him. I heard an interview of him like a week ago that was pretty good. He is doing good with that NBA betting website he is working with hahaha. He made lemonade for sure. I've heard him on the radio a few times.

Something you dont need to advertise because.. On June 01 2012 02:44 Glaceau wrote: ace rarely posts anything worthwhile so I doubt anyone would care if he stopped posting in this thread. lololol... Didnt catch the game till the fourth but it doesnt seem like Boston has enough weapons firing, Pierce loosing his legs doesnt help/ I see them stealing a game or two.

i cheer for the spurs and that's the more competitive series anyway, so i don't mind seeing them wipe the floor with the thunder. the celtics-heat series is boring, though. this has been a disappointing playoffs altogether. heat-spurs has potential, but w/ bosh likely not at full strength it's tainted. injuries really killed the eastern bracket

But second game with overtime was a nice thing to watch. I guess if you can't stand the Heat i understand that. As a fan of Heat organization that i cheer for the past 14 years and counting i still love to watch competitive games from other teams. Even with teams i "hate" or dislike. Good game is always good to watch. But i guess it's just me!

Nooo most people enjoy a competitive basketball game anyway, so it's not just you of course (even if some people complain, they probably do still find it fun...probably?)! I, for instance, really dislike Rondo but the way he and the Celtics played last night (especially Rondo ofc though) was amazing and that was a crazy up-and-down game to watch, even though there weren't *that* many lead changes ![]() @Ack: I'm confused too lol

Awful offense, awful defense, gambling, choking on both sides, terrible refs (and sorry Boston fans, it was horrible on both sides Miami just took advantage of it better)... Rondo had a great performance, a lot of respect for his game BUT let's not forget a large portion of his points were simply because Miami let him shoot at spots where even most centers get a high percentage... Boston is old, shallow and injured. There's plenty to love about their basketball, but right now they just don't have the personnel. I don't mean to shit on anyone's team or favorite players, but you really should hope that the Heat aren't that successful. If they are, then it will just feed this whole 'Sportscenter' mentality and lots of other teams are going to think that the way to win is to load up on a bunch of stars. Sure, that formula produced the Heat, but it also produced the Nuggets from the last couple of years. We don't need more Allen Iversons in the league. I don't want the NBA GMs thinking like that. I don't want young basketball players thinking like that. I don't want fans thinking like that.

Like 2 weeks ago when the eastern teams couldn't even make it to 90 while spurs average 102 i had my doubts about the eastern conference. But with the Heats revival and Rondo playing like an all star there might be hope yet for the eastern conference.
