On the other, more internet-represented side, we have people saying that the word is just a word, that it shouldn't mean what the first group of people say it means. At the end we have a widespread disagreement over the word's meaning, and the flame wars ensue. Yet, what does a word truly mean? Does potato mean a lawnmower just because you decided so? Maybe to you it does, but to many people around you it still means a potato. In the end, using that word just shows you're so convinced it shouldn't be racist that you're ready to offend people left and right just for that belief. How can such a belief be so strong? Talk about individualistic insensitivity. But being sensitive is being a wimpy faggot these days so what do I know. | ||

There are a couple of reasons why it isn't: 1. He acted as he did on his own stream which has no affiliation with EG. 2. Correct me if I'm wrong, but he acted the way he did before he was even at the EG Lair. His casting for EG, from what I saw was very proffesional and well done. The BIG problem I see here is the fact that he lied to his boss about something they specifically asked him about. That being said I'd ask everyone reading this to look at it from his point of view. He was being questioned my people who he was just hired by and "hunted" by the reddit pitchfork crew of overly dramatic and highly over-sensitive teens. Given that situation I'm positive many of you would lie aswell. Of course doing it two more times and writing a half assed apology on reddit don't help his cause but I do think this is being blown out of proportion, and it needs to stop. The starcraft community is already too sensitive towards these kind of things and threads like this just fuel the fire. | ||

And quit trying to pretend that the only reason SC2 isnt on ESPN is because some folks say the N word once in a while. The SC2 community is by far the most GM of any gaming community I have ever seen, I assure you thats not whats holding it back. Alot of people are pointing out what all this says about Orbs character, and its totally true. But because he has insecurites and charcter flaws does that give u the right to ruin his life? The only people who should be ashamed of themselves here are the ones calling for blood. I hope you face just as much hate if you ever say something stupid. | ||
