dumb question about battlenet new accounts

I haven't been on battlenet in years and just created a new account on battle.net. I've downloaded the iccup launcher, and when I launch it and try to get into battlenet, it asks me to create a new account. But every name I try it says another user has. I've tried obscure, imaginary names, obscure imaginary passwords and even typed in a string of random numbers and letters to the space limit - every time it says the name has already been taken.

Has anyone had this problem? I called Blizzard and they said they couldn't help with the old Battlenet. I'm not sure what else to do.

register on www.iccup.com and u need use this aka on the server

In order to play on ICCup servers, you have to register an account on iccup.com, then use that info to log into the iccup servers on battle.net.
AFAIK, blizzard does not support their own servers. I could be wrong though,

i had this same problem, keep getting 502 bad gateway error on iccup website. even though i just used it to download the BW client

The iCCup website is down for maintenance from 7-10pm EST every day, which is why you were getting the 502 error.
