My name is Ben, and I live in Portland, Oregon, the City of Roses.
I'm 16 (17 in September) and I'll be a junior in highschool. I've been playing SC since 6th grade when I was about 12 and I still am a pretty mediocre player.
After highschool I intend to attend a community college for a short time, then transfer to an art school, preferably the Pacific Northwest Academy of Art to study graphic design.
I want to visit Western Europe and possibly live there for a time.
I can't stand the country and need to live close to a city at all times.

Hello, name is Armin, I'm currently 18 ( 19 in Dec )
I was born in Iran, when my dad was younger, perhaps my age a bit older, he had saved up alot of money he had earned working at the oil refinary, he left Iran and went all over the world. Spent alot of time in Britain and Europe, a good 10-15 years at that. Durring the revolution in Iran when the Shah was overthrown, he wanted to see what all the fuss was about, came back to Iran and met my mother. Because of all the time he had spent in europe, for him that was his home, and he was in a sense homesick, all the time he was in Iran from that point on. My older brother was about 11-12 at the time, and I was about 7-8, little bro, 1, I think. Anyway, dad finally had enough, saved up alot of money, sold his house and bussiness and off we went. Spent a year in Turkey, then applied for immigrating and late 1993, we were accepted and moved to Australia. As far as I'm concered this is my home now, and I consider my self an Australia, but of course I'll never forget where I came from.
I've never really shared that story with anyone, so I thought I'd start with a small medium.. like the internet.
I got starcraft, back in 99/00. I mostly enjoyed UMS/Comp stomps. for the first year or so, when I started gaming against other people in 4v4/3v3. Eventually I worked my way down to 2v2's and finally worked my way up to play a 1v1, I hated it at first but didn't give up. With lots of gaming and encouragement, I moved into competative gaming ( in a matter of speaking ) From that point on starcraft wasn't a gaming anymore, it was a goal, but by that time the difficult years of highschool had started and I was on and off gaming for 2 years and never had a chance to gain any deceant amount of skill. After a highschool I went off to college, the times were actually much more flexible than highschool and I had alot of time to play, I got alot better. After a year of college I realised what I was studying just wasn't for me and decided to take a year off to relax and perhaps work a bit. Come March 2005 I get a really nice office job, getting paid alot, I decided to stay onboard and just move up in the company, I see no reason to go back to college if I don't have to. Anyway, I don't have time for starcraft anymore, which is such a shame because I love the game.
Oh, I guess this should have been up top. I enjoy reading, sitting around talking with friends and having a drink. I play the occasional video game, mostly RPG's now on console, and from time to time. Golf.
Well, I guess that shows a brief view of me.

It's good reading all these.
You put a lot of detail into your 'bio' (of sorts) Armin. :D Nice.

My name's Will. I was born in 1990 in Boston, and I later moved to Pittsburgh, and now I live in Indianapolis. I'll be 15 in September, and I'm starting my sophomore year of high school in 2 weeks. My Xanga is www.xanga.com/t3h_l337_n3wb if you're interested.
I play piano and violin. I've been playing piano for about 4 and a half years now, and violin for like 3. I'm not nearly as good in piano as Empyrean, but I'm not bad I suppose... I listen to Alternative Rock, Punk Rock, and Classical. Some of my favorite bands are Machinae Supremacy (ty TL.net for recommending them), Bowling for Soup, Green Day, Papa Roach, and Yellowcard. My favorite classical composer is Chopin, although I also enjoy listening to Strauss.
I'm Chinese, so obviously, my parents have huge expectations of me I want to go to Carnegie Mellon University (in the top 20, top 10 in Comp Sci) and major in Comp Sci. I <3 computers. I know quite a bit about computer hardware, so if you have a hardware question, chances are that I'll be able to help My dream job is to become the Department Chair of Computer Science at MIT. However, that's not going to happen...
You can find me on Anandtech forums (forums.anandtech.com) with the username t3h l337 n3wb. Btw, if you haven't noticed, my username is an oxymoron (contradiction between two words, l337 and n3wb). I had to change them to actual letters instead of numbers at TL.net, because the rules prohibit them...
Starcraft is awesome. I got my first copy about 4 years ago, played the campaign, and then proceeded to LOSE my CD without even experiencing multiplayer T.T... So I was without Starcraft for like 2 years. Then I bought a Battle Chest and installed Brood War. I played the Brood War campaign, and then I lose my disks. Both of them -_-; Then my friend considerately purchased a new one for me last August, and that's when I started playing somewhat seriously. I was pretty much like addicted, and went from a stupid newbie Terran to somewhat half decent Protoss player I had some help from Empyrean, who goes to my school.
I've recently become attracted to DDR, and I just bought a copy tonight. I'm not in such good shape, and I was hoping to shed a couple of pounds by playing I don't play sports. It seems that none of my classmates are interested in SC anymore... Even Empyrean is wasting his time all day in Diablo 2...

Machinae Supremacy (ty TL.net for recommending them) i wouldn't say they're my favorite band, but it's cool knowing other people listen to them here too. was i the one who made the recommendation? don't remember. (their vocal is terrible tho!)
anyway i was wondering, since you play piano, have you ever dabbled in composition?
edit: oh wow you're young. only starting sophomore year? you have so little to worry about -_-.

yeah Machinae Supremacy - Winterstorm GG

I'm Michael, 100% Korean living in NYC. Interests are finance and political science. I plan to attend either Dartmouth or the U of Michigan really soon. But currently I'm working for Merril Lynch (nothing major, just basic level stuff). I'm planning to go into law and my current aspirations are to become a well established corporate lawyer and once I'm rich perhaps dabble in the stock market. I'm also really interested in currency and its dynamics at the moment.
I started reading these forums about 2 years ago during my ~2 yr starcraft addiction. I'm pretty much done with gaming now, though I still play free for alls on Wc3 pretty competitively. Nowadays for entertainment I usually just play volleyball or American football. I might pick up WoW during college.

im Eivind Leknes 21 years old until last friday (2 nights ago) I had a job, I was working in the highschool I used to attend back when I was a highschool student, that also happens to be the most awesome highschool in the world ; which is also the reason for me applying for a job there last night I went grilling with some friends and then we had some beers and then when we were done grilling which didnt take that long cause the weather was honestly really bad for grilling, we went to some party, which was fun, but we were only there for less than an hour. then we went to some club and 1-2 hours after that I have no idea because I don't remember and there's $100 missing from my wallet, so apparently I drank way more.
I absolutely love meeting people. (and you're all free to visit me ) I used to be kinda shy but I'm not at all shy anymore.. studied political science last year but ended up not studying political science and spending my time getting high and drunk which was fun but not something you can keep doing for long periods of time, especially because it led to me failing most my classes and having $13000 in student loans :D but I don't care, it's just money and I became a much.. better, happier, cooler person during that year. $13000 is no price to pay for that.
until september I will be relaxing completely every single day, and then I will start working in a kindergarten. I chose that job because well, I love children, I love laughing and it's a very.. useful job. especially guys are very valuable in kindergartens because at least the boys there benefit greatly from having male workers as well as female ones. speaking of the laughing thing, I think the average adult laughs like 30 times a day. im probably closer to 300, which is something that defines me; im almost always laughing or giggling even if nobody else gets what is funny.
soo well I really, really love myself. im pretty immature in one way but that's just a good thing, most people are too serious I think.
