One of their best? Their best by far, TSM now instantly has the best midlaner in NA.

Yup, although Xpecial/Turtle also have the potential to come out really big next season if they approach it the right way, which might make them a contender for "strongest position" on TSM aswell. I wouldn't say Bjergsen is by default that much better at mid than Xpecial/Turtle are at bot.

I don't like it, the "great" EU vs NA rivalry is meaningless if EU talent keep joining NA teams :/
|
Btw Bjergsen seems to blend right in with the rest of TSM... 45k viewers right now on his stream
Edit: Like seriously I wonder how much money TSM makes on nights like these
|
Seems like I'll start cheering for TSM now...
I never thought I'd see the day

I'll have to find a new team to root for in EU. =S

Urm.... GMB.Meteos?

Haha I doubt Alex will agree being taxed cs and blue buff :p

How would you all rate TSM in terms of individual talent compared to other LCS teams? Can TSM claim the title of having the best combination of mid-lane and bottom lane talent in the Western hemisphere?
|
The thing I definitely need to see first is how Rekkles will perform with Fnatic in the upcoming season. They seem like a very strong contender with him on top of xPeke, if he lives up to the hype.

The only thing that would solidify it further is if CLG benched liftlift, and sent him to Curse. Unable to meet Curse standards they release him shortly after announcement and he signs with TSM.

This is just speculation but I imagine TSM would have at least paid 5 digits to NiP to get Bjergsen.

Lol I just realized how well Regi pulled this "anti leak" off yesterday. Just saw that on reddit:

How subtle he mispronounced his name to make him sound disconnected from him was actually very smart.

Must be the case. I mean, 4 digits would be hilariously low for such a player, even if it was $ 9999.

I would be fairly confident in saying that TSM are the wealthiest team in eSports and generate the most direct revenue as well.

That's very interesting, although that's quite hard to define. What exactly is the "team"?
I think it's pretty safe to assume that TSM players have the highest income from streaming, which I'm sure gets greatly enhanced by them showing their big list of sponsors on their stream, too. I'm also sure they have very respectable subscriber counts.
However, do you count the revenue that solomid.net brings in to the team/organization? Do you count big operating budgets of teams like SK Telecom T1, which makes them a very rich organization, but isn't directly transferred as salary to their players? Making their players poorer, but the team itself is still very wealthy.
Many factors to think about. ^^

Ah yeah, that's why I said SK Telecom T1, so specifically their eSports team. No worries, though. I guess it's impossible to crunch any numbers on that anyway, because there simply are none. I guess TSM a safe bet if you had to put your money on one single richest organization which is purely eSports based.
