NaNiwa not invited to Code S - Page 65

While I understand that there's a need to discuss this matter, this thread has way too many trash posts in it. Please think carefully about what you want to say. Ad hominem attacks on Swedish people in general, calling you fellow Starcraft fans idiots etc etc will be dealt with with harsher punishment from here on out. Keep it civil people. Page 230: Here's some more stuff that'll get you banned! - Conspiracy theory mongering about MLG and GOM - Comparing people to Hitler - Posting useless one liners of arguments that have already been repeated ad nauseum.

Please tell me how you know what NesTea is thinking and what his feelings are? I'd love to get in there and learn to be a better zerg! In all, your post is extremely arrogant. Do not think for one second that you know how NesTea felt after that game...It is extremely idiotic for you to say that because you support Naniwa then NesTea should too. NesTea practcised well into the night the night before despite it being his Birthday. He committed large amounts of practice hours to that night and obviously had a point to prove after going 0-3 in his group.. Did you not even watch the match? Didnt you see NesTea's face afterwards?

In GSL they play for audience! Not for themselves. Do you think in normal JOB you can say to your boss that you have bad humor and dont wanna work? NO! Naniwa, no matter what he think, should just sit in that booth and give fight with all his heart! To respect Korean audience, NesTea, GSL stuff, online audience etc. This match wasnt meaningless, if not for Naniwa it has meaning for audience, probably for NesTea... This is not a playground for 3yo kinds, this is professional tournament, for professional players. His duty as a player was to give his best in that game! This. So much this Naniwa needs to grow up. ESL, IEM, Complexity, This. Not to mention he didnt do good in code a, hed get shit on in code s, especially when he wants to probe rush and not try.

If this match was to decide who was last in the up and down groups it wouldn't have been played. The only reason GOM showed it was because NESTEA VS NANIWA DRAMA OMG VIEWER COUNTS!!!!

I bet practicing at the StarTale house is going to be fantastic for him now. We should speculate about how the Quantic Gaming and Incredible Miracle partnership probably dissolved as a result of QxG's interest in acquiring Naniwa.

I'm disappointed in GOM. I know i don't even like Naniwa but this is unprofessional from GOMTV I think they should Rescind their decision after they realise the outrage people are going to have and putting Sen and IdrA in there is really weird because it makes the whole situation even weirder...

He kept within the rules, and he's being punished for something he arguably didn't do. But, that was a very douche move... because it was nestea's birthday and stuff.. still gom has no right to ban naniwa. This is just dumb. yeah, the enormous backlash and negative feedback from the progamers and Korean community shows that they're not offended

Its not about professionalism. gom wants sc2 to be a show like wrestling, therefore anything ridiculous like you mentioned will be allowed. Being honest to the competition and not playing out a useless game however gets punished, since it takes away from the entertainment/show factor of the game. gom does not value true competition over a travesty with players faking it, so it is consequent they also allow manner mules/nexi/dancing whatever.

I instead find it absolutely INSULTING and without honor to KEEP players who's morals are already down from the losses...to play a COMPLETELY USELESS GAME ...for what? to judge who the best looser of the group is?.... to show the audience who the better "group monkey" is? I agree that should never happen..but who will tell blizzard or gom about their jawdropping stupid rules? Who will fix this issue? because this was the TRUE seed of the problem. Saying "they knew before they joined" is the exact same thing as "let's ignore and run away from the ACTUAL PROBLEM". A fin was enough.... specially for the importance of that match (and there wasn't any). I am not defending naniwa i am not the bigest fan at all..but the what comes to my mind are these: "Making example of even if unfair" "disrespect because it was their bad rule to start with" "running away from the actual problem, blaming others". More and more i see the word "honor" fade away turning into "QQ decisions". How come Coca didn't get any punishment for intentionally "matchfixing" (even if it wasn't 100%) by GOM (BUT BY HIS TEAM) and Naniwa who didn't even do it intentionally for his opponent to gain something in return..he did it out of seer frustration + being forced to play a useless game...get a punishment as big as that? I want to see Coca get an even bigger punishment for that..WHY? Because if he doesn't get a bigger punishment (considering what i said above) i will automatically see it not only desprespectfull and with 0 honor but Racist towards foreigner players. If GOM wants fairness in this game..let's see how fair they are...or is it the fact that naniwa's white and coca is korean?

This isn't like the Coca situation, it isn't even like half the MLG players that don't play there consolation matchs. This is Naniwa saying hes not some court jester here to perform for your amusement hes a competitive player first.
